Congratulations to him!
And congratulations to you... You finally won't have to drive him everywhere now!
Posted by masseur
no, thats just the theory.. the practical is still to come and then yeah... no more dad's taxi for him! although there's still the matter of my daughter who will start all this next year
Its strange here in UK. In oz you do the theory and only when you do that do you get your learners permit and can start driving, which kinda makes sense.
here you get your learners permit and can begin driving. then sometime later you do your theory test, that can be after a few hours of driving or when you're ready for the practical (though the theory has to be done before you can do the practical of course)
Posted by Muhammad-Oli
Yeah its fairly similar to Australia here. You do the theory to get your learners, then can begin practicing driving with a full-licensed driver. Then you do a practical to get your restricted so you can drive on your own but can take no passengers unless they have their full license. Then you do one more practical which is somewhat more difficult to get your full license.
Ah well, not long until you can retire the taxi service!

Having worked at a footie stadium; I would say leave your wallet, watch, keys, phone, kids and anything valuable at home, take a bullet-proof vest and tell everyone that your other half is bad ass cop. Other than that, enjoy the game.

Got myself a contract extension, second one coming in January and then I start my PhD in June 09. Things are moving very quickly.
Also got a lot of funding for my research and will get a free Playstation 3 next week for running simulations. Totally sweet day.

Got the email accounts working on my phone again haha i spelt my surname wrong lmao

@ Arien
I'm a scientist working on stem cell research (NO EMBRYOS, adult cells only). PS3 has a very powerful processor and excellent graphics engine. Certain protein simulations take weeks to complete on a PC but the PS3 does it in a couple of hours.
At work, while we wait for certain experiments to finish which can take a few hours, we throw on COD4. Its a great job.

started cleaning up the engine bay of my sunny-day-weekend-"fun car" and gave it a good wash and polish
a very satisfying days work!

May I enquire to why you are in a disabled spot?
Posted by fatreg
might be a spot for disqualified drivers?
as I'm sure Big M wouldn't knowingly stop in a disabled space unless of course he is disabled....
I myself have been polishing my little brum brum today...
