@chestertan20 Yes it looks cool, because of that lense that pops up! I've seen some samples made with the phone, I don't even have to tell you how they look!

Posted by SE4NICK
The F700 looks very nice and iphone-ish

Posted by AbuBasim
It's a shame that the really interesting camera phones only work on CDMA, except the Sharp 910 from which MobileBurn showed surprisingly poor quality photos. They look just like they have been shot with a N95.

. . .

The Samsung G800 has 3x optical zoom. A serious threat to the K850i. Even more so if it would have a CCD sensor, but I doubt it as Samsung is also in the point-and-shoot market.

Those are Samsung models. They also announced a 10 MP model of the one with the zoom lens. It's called SCH-B600 and as the name suggests it's also only CDMA

(SCH-xxxx = CDMA, SGH-xxxx = GSM.)

Woah! the china made cp has optical zoom! i wish also in sony

It probably will do 8mp pictures with software interpolation at a guess

Posted by QVGA
The first one in the pics looks absolutely hideous. WTF is that thing anyway?

Posted by AbuBasim
gaming_guy and @Sammy_boy,

Yep! 5 MP CCD sensor but blown up to 8 MP. Same thing you had in the K700i, a VGA camera that could output 1.3MP photos.

The 5 MP photos from the i-mobile 902 are good enough so the 8 MP mode is unnecessary and I think most owners do no choose 8 MP mode.

Don't you know? It's a camera/phone/self defence weapon for ladies. If attacked, they blind the guy with the LED flash and then hit them on the head with the phone

Haha, but I cant figure if its a slider?? Seems to be sliding to cover the screen or something??

Posted by AbuBasim
Looks to me like the slider is to protect the camera thingy.

Posted by QVGA
But in the very first pic the screen looks very small and is covered by something, and when the girl is holding it, its large.

What a great thread with some lovely stuff in it, as always its a sad reminder to us Europeans about how far behind we actually are compared to certain far east markets.

hmmm,the k850i sticks out,truely wonderful...

Samsung seem to have more choice..

wasn't aware Casio made phones

Posted by SaLiH
@miss uk - I know, and did you know that they were the first one to produce a 2 MP camera phone, back in 2003! Ofcourse only for Korea & Japan!

Casio HS7000 (2 MP) I think it was CCD sensor!
http://www.i4u.com/article668.html

Which was followed by the first 3.2 MP phone soon in 2004:

Casio-A5406CA (3,2 MP) I think it was CCD sensor!
http://www.i4u.com/article1569.html

and carried on with this one and so on till that Exilim 5 MP today!

Casio-W31CA (3,2 MP) I think it was CCD sensor!

So this proves they're specialty are not just watches!

^^ Hey since you include non-international phones like the P860, exilim and sharp, i think you have to include here the best SE cam phone on Japan(and outside japan as i bet it ) the SO905iCS

Posted by AbuBasim
@SaLiH,

Your first link to N82 photos is broken. Here's the working link:
Me and My Phones: Nokia N82: impressions after a week.... Pity the guy didn't post full size photos. The E90 shots sucks big time

BTW! Did you find a good digicam yet?

Posted by SaLiH
@razec
Thank you, I dont' know how I forgot, about SO905iSC, and I have plenty photos of it in my collection. Probably my craving for N82, made me forget, about it. I haven't owned a NOKIA since my 3100, but things are changing and i could easily get N82 it's too tempting, sorry SE, but N82 is simply calling my name. i don't like the looks at all, but who cares about the looks when everything else is great. SO905iSC in the collection of 5 MP phones, now.

@AbuBasim
Thanks for telling me about the link, I've corrected it. I still haven't bought a camera, nor sold my 902, I'm waiting for this guy who is going to buy it, few more days. But I'll probably go for Canon Powershot A530 as you said, or for one year old used Canon Powershot A430 in great condition,

http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_a430.asp
http://www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/a430.html
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/A430/A430A.HTM
http://www.cameras.co.uk/camera-reviews/canon-powershot-a430.cfm

with 1 GB memory card, two 2100 mAh rechargeable batteries, which I can get for 80 €, and SE W810, or K800. And now when N82 is officially out, I changed my plan, I don't want to buy it right now because it's too expensive, but later in half year time or more. Then I'm planning to sell W810/K800, add more money and get it.

God that Casio Exilim phone is one hell of a good looking phone! That red... Oh yes.

Posted by SaLiH
@Muhummad-Oli - I agree with you, but the lack of real Xenon Flash makes it not so appealing, at least not to me. I mean, I don't see the point in 5 MP CCD phone without Xenon flash.

K850 the BEST Cameraphone

Posted by Muhammad-Oli
Its hot! I tell ya... I'd get one just for the looks. With that kind of style i wouldn't be worried about the feature set. Exilyum...

I'm proud of you iva_se, that you feel no shame about expressing your opinion without caring how this will affect people's opinion of you

My two favorites, choosing from models that are available world-wide (and this rules out SAMART's i-mobile brand) then it would have to be LG's KG920 and Nokia N82.
