i also tried to downgrade
my k800i R1JG001 from R8BA024
as noted in 2nd page of instruction must have the latest firmware of k800i R1JG001
please help, i didn't know where i got wrong
the only issue here is the memory issue only
the phone is working perfectly

sometimes they use to say to remove them, but i've never done that. what about the custom? are you using the customs that come with xs++ or you upload the custom using the old xs++?

it seems you will have to attempt till you reach +64mb. some customs have some videos within. i think that those custom have videos.

i tried using master reset after all updates of firmware made..
still only a small change
12 15 24 25 27 30 31mb max hehehe well i have to sleep now its 4am here.. be up later again to fix these..

Perhaps the k810i file system eat ups a lot of space as compared with that of the k800i. just an opinion.

You might just risk it, K810i on a K800i wont be stable.

because i need to use both chinese n english in my phone...what main and filesystem should i put?
currently i'm using K810_R6BC002_FS_APAC_RED52 and K810_R6BC002_MAIN_CHINA_SM_RED52.

You can flash only Main k810 R8BA024 , but when Main and FS is different R... you have only english menu ( write , read again have chinese ... )

I'm having a vodafone branded K800i with R1ED001 on it (Europe 3). Because Vodafone isn't approving any software any more I'm stuck with it.
Now I do have XS++ and K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52 and K810_R8BA024_FS_EUROPE_3_RED52.
Can I flash my k800 with that software and what CDA do I use to Customize, because my CDA isn't in the list. Must be something for Europe 3, because I'm using the dutch language. (I upgraded my cid from 49 to 52 already).
Hope someone has done this before and can help me with it. A brick is the last thing I want.

Just upgraded mine from K800 to K810.
Looks no different but the whole operation is much quicker. Focusing in the camera, the menus, texting etc. So well worth doing in my opinion.
Nice guide, easy to follow and no horrors with the upgrade at all.

I have a Vodafone Branded K800 and installed the K810 firmware, but I have call and end call button on the keypad( green and red) and they are not working now. Does anyone have and idea what should I do to change them to work ?

awful, that's creepy. i dont know what to do there. i think you need to upload the customize.xml from your old firmware to this one. though you should wait for someone else's opinion.

the customize.xml is found in the custom. what custom file did you use? or did you customize(finalize) your phone with a custom from xs++?

I used a custom pack that I found in an instruction for making k800 to k810. It was said that it was only for making the keyboard lights ok. Do you know where to find such a customize.xml ?

an idea came to my mind. you need a custom(from vodafone) and then extract the customize.xml. then upload that one to your phone with xs++.

Just converted a k800 to a k810 and changed the light effects using XS. Every thing is fine and working fantastic. The new k810 is great and it has the purple k800 backlight.

Yes , but can back up with MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_164.exe if you haven't USB drivers , download: k800_usb_signed_drivers.zip
click F2 , then Search device
