here is how u do it .......
First of all make different folders for each of the albums and then inside each folder paste the jpeg file for the album art and rename it as "folder.jpg"
Now in the KD player settings tick the option " load album art "

should really have equalizer...
and other effectys...
just for layout change we can use kdplayer..
other than thata ... i dont think its good
but any way nice to have a player in java..
very big step in that way....
more over i have seen many areas in thew kd player where it will be plain and will show themes background.. which makes it cheap looking ..
more Java permission is needed...

Most of the new firmware upgrades gives u access to change read write permisions for 3rd party java applications. so in new firmwares , the player will not ask the read/write permission anymore .......
then it would n nice and easy ......

i can't update my k800i to the latest R1KG001 (it doesn't recognize a need for an update, yet (?)), and I'm too freaked to try and 'flash' my file sys.
I like this java app very much. but im afraid to add lots of albums, cause then ill be bombarded with permission requests..

Seems a nice little free alternative to the on-board player (I have K810i).
Although it's a shame there is no equaliser and it doesn't integrated with the volume buttons for forward/back when it's minimised.
Also, is there no shuffle function?
Hopefully these will be in a future release.

Ahh got it. Pressed "7" and a little sequence of numbers changed on the left and then I pressed "9" and there's a little symbol which toggles between an arrow, triangle and a square. Not sure which one is which.
Just got the album art working as well. It's a lot of trouble if you want it on there though....

Hi! I can't seem to do this, ive follow the steps you have mentioned but the album artwork does not appear on the main display on the player, only the orange disk, maybe ive done something wrong in creating exactly where the folders should be, or renaming the file or the folder into folder.jpg. can you please make the steps more simple, sorry for the hassle. i will really appreciate it. thanks!

Don't forget to check "Show album art" in the player's settings!
Posted by dadgio1979
yes ive done that, when you are in the main player display, pressing the back button will display the options such as
now playing
artists
tracks
....
...
....
so on and so fort
and pressing the menu soft button will pop up other options such as
minimize
now playing
change skin
refresh library
settings
help
exit
choosing the settings options will pop
general settings
program settings
folders for scanning
then choosing the program settings, thats where the options
autostart
load album art
appears, ive tick the load album art, and when i go to the main player display, still no album art in the screen, only the orange disk.
i hope you could help me out in this, thanks!

please take note that, in making an album art... always keep in mind to save it as "folder.jpg" without the quotations. and put (copy) that inside a folder where the song/mp3 should go together. and when you play your mp3, viola! theres your album art.
