downloading screensavers

i have tried to d/l screensavers onto my phone today via GPRS
no joy, i get the "file size is xxkb, download?" box, .but when i press
yes i get "recieving item" for a few minutes and then unable to e\recieve item.

i have tried esato and phoneimage.com, and i got the same outcome with both

Your networkprovider might not support large downloads...

Unfortunately, a majority of gateways worldwide have a 3-kilobyte cap regarding file downloads. Anything larger than 3 kilobytes will simply be refused by the gateway. Note that not all service providers have this cap.

then what does mobitel have? my phone wont receive any picture larger than 600 bytes. Thats kind of pathetic dont you think?

there is a website which does cross network mms and sends and recevies a high kb download i dnt no the site.. its free to all u pay for is the gprs

T-mobile (uk) has just put the segmentation and re-assembley function on there gateway which will allow upto 50kb through there portal!
