Dear Friends,
I want to know about setting for GPRS on Windows Vista basic system.
I am using mobile phone "Samsung SGH-X210" model. I got mobile office line under Airtelgprs.com (RS 250/month), i saved settings in my mobile.
Then how to connect it to my laptop, i tried upto modem properties, i couldnot find IrDA in modem settings. plse kindly help me in this regards.

First check whether your X210 can be used as a GPRS modem ..i think you have to download Samsung Mobilephone PC suite ....
Which circle you are in as Rs. 250/- for Mobile Office seems to be cheap..what are the usage rates

Thanks for ur reply about my queries...
I got connection in airtel kerala. monthly rental is Rs 250 for 30days unlimited use. i dont know about other usage rates....they told for other utility i need to pay more like that....and also i should keep min balance Rs15.
ok i will check it my mobilephone PC suite.

Thanks for providing me with the info..i am in AirTel Tamilnadu under postpaid connection ...here GPRS rates are 600 rs p.m for 1 GB or for 100 KB Rs.1/-
