Don't hate Nokia, just don't like what they come up with.

Nothing personal

Nice man,nice. Watch out SE,Nokia is trying to woo me over.

Why phone makers are thinking that glossy material is very good idea for high-end phones? Don't they think about ugly fingerprints in the glossy surface? Or do they think that people use their phones only with silk gloves?

@Aivar
this is not a high end phone(though it looks high-end ), its estimated price is 200euro, its more of low-to-mid-end.

looks like the gui of 6300

@belialwafu
yes I guess it's S40, but I think it will be the 5th edition, nokia stopped launching 3rd edition afaik, and the theme is from 6120 classic.

no word about the camera, let's see how much will it suck

it's strange they mention nothing about the camera! I guess it's 2mpx fixed focus.

Very nice! 16m screen in a low-mid end phone? Way to go Nokia, other manufacturer should try to take notice ...

Its similiar to Nokia 6125.I dont really like this.Sony ericsson all the way .

All black/silver would have more class.....however, they've made worse.....

And yes, sms, it should have S40v.5, like everything since 7500 prism.....

you mean since 6500 family

and here is another proof it's 5th edition:
Selectable skins for changing the look and feel of the music player

http://europe.nokia.com/A4511065
these skins only available in S40 5th edition, even walkman players don't have it!

Ah, didn't know 6500 series was released already, thanks!

But sold my 7500 a week and a half ago now, when I got it(~3 weeks ago), it was touted as the FIRST S40v.5 phone available.....so I had to have a look!

no, I was just talking about the announcement dates, not the release, so, I guess we're both right.

yawn

Compared to the utterly rubbish mid end of SE, this is black gold.

Nice design not too sure about the specifications though. But at least it isn't too expensive.

Posted by SMS
here's the deal breaker guys: it has only 1.2mpx camera

http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/6555

no wonder it's too cheap.

Posted by nettl
I don't think it matter much whether it has 2 MPx or 1.3, without a flash or AF, the picture quality won't be good either way.

Posted by radeonboy
Design looks horrible aound the hinge when closed (looks cut off) but the phone looks nice when flip is opened

Specs are way better than current SE clamshells in mind range

Good job for adding the 16mil screen, something SE should definately catch up on

nice ladyfone, but it do reminds me on an lg on some way. maybe nokia will move in a new direction?
