Well, I have a little problem with my menu moding, some stuff I can't understand...
I want to place in first position of main menu a Opera Icon/shortcut, instead of the playnow one, and it doesn't work.
I know the xml script is good because it works if I place it in second position, so why can't I replace that playnow stupid stuff?
And an other question: is it possible to make a icon/shortcut in the main menu (original layout 4x3) to immediate access to the themes folder? if yes, what is the path?

in the custmenu folder, you will find a desktp_hook1 or similar named folder. Delete this, and also the itm file of the same name in the custom folder.
for your 2nd question, there is no way that I know of.

not even one called desktop_hook_1? (I did say similar - I wasn't sure the exact name, but I've checked it now and it's desktop_hook_1)
Also delete desktop_hook_1.itm in the CUSTOM folder.

post your menu.ml file (rapidshare works well usually) and I'll have a look for you. Maybe it's in the file after all. If there is no desktop_hook folders then there should be no reason it should not work other than in menu.ml.
desktop_hook however takes precedence over menu.ml so have to get rid of it if it's there.

I just have one more look at this menu, and there is one thing I don't understand:
I use SE Menu Editor to create that file. Menu Editor modifies only the second part of the code for the first element. so, the correct informations appear in second part while the first part of the code still mentions the playnow stuff. But I don't know what to do exactly (I'm a code noob and profane
)

Modifying the font of your phone also modifies the font of... MBW-100 watch!! Not for date and time informations display, but for calls notification.

is there memory limitation on how much file size i can only upload to the system files of my phone?? im using k800i..
and if yes, up to what file size??
is phone's internal memory same as the memory where the file system located??

well afaik there are no known limitations for uploading mods on the phone..
but the operation would be grueling. the fact the it will process 3mb file sizes.

What program did you use to create the pictures? And the gif?
I've made 40 (240X320 72dpi) resolution pictures in photoshop.. every one with +- 300Kb... than created the gif, without optimization, and got an 267Kb gif.
Try using movie gear =]
It supports .psd so you can use photoshop files without exporting to .jpg

Well, can anyone tell me why i installed a fost and why i can't see the tail of the "g"? Sometimes it appears but then when i move to another menu it remains there and sometimes doesn't appear at all.

it means you have to adjust the sizes of those fonts in order for it to work in any menus inside the phone... its a pretty "tasky" thing to do...
i have tried experimenting with other font faces... but i found none that would really satisfy me except the default ones.

I just double checked it with my K810i re-installed it & there is no problem with the menu. Maybe you should try it again.
Btw No it's not necessary to use the layout.xml. That only removes the scrollbar & Op logo thats all.
