Could God create something so heavy that even he could not lift it ?

simple...

No.... God is apparently greater than everything...

Or you could go down the other road which is dont be so stupid as god doesn't even exsist....

I go down the first road

me,second one

In actual fact I think there may be one thing he created and couldn't lift...

Us, there is too many us lol

I think in space, were there is no gravity, anything is quite easier to lift or move, even planets

If you set all the rules you wouldn't need to actually do anything yourself. What I mean is God doesn't have to lift anything, all he has to do is order it to lift itselt and it will obey.

could god invent a burrito so hot that he himself could not eat t? lol i saw it on the Simpson's, and felt it necessary to post.

what a silly question, im not religious but god is not a human therefor doesn't have the limitations of a human as in strength and not been able to lift objects! If the big guy did create the whole universe im pretty sure he can lift or move anything! look at the size of jupiter and the sun!

And that just our galaxy there are far bigger planets and suns out there.

Every one of those is a galaxy just like ours, with there own planets, suns and im sure they are bigger than ours! And without a doubt life of some kind!

I hate thinking about stuff like the universe and how big it is. It hurts my head

@se_p800... perhaps this little ditty from Monty Python will help!

Whenever life gets you down, Mrs. Brown,
And things seem hard or tough,
And people are stupid, obnoxious or daft,
And you feel that you've had quite eno-o-o-o-o-ough,

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour.
Thas orbiting at ninety miles a second, so it's reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see,
Are moving at a million miles a day,
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,
Of a galaxy we call the Milky Way.

Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars;
It's a hundred thousand light-years side to side;
It bulges in the middle sixteen thousand light-years thick,
But out by us it's just three thousand light-years wide.
We're thirty thousand light-years from Galactic Central Point,
We go 'round every two hundred million years;
And our galaxy itself is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding,
In all of the directions it can whiz;
As fast as it can go, the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth;
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!

@adz21, I'm not religious in the least, but it's certainly not a silly question, if he (God) could not create something so heavy that he could not lift it, then that opens up a lot of other "limitiations" as too his powers(if your a believer), if he can create something that he could not life then his powers are also limited.

I find the question very interesting and a nice one to put to religous people who try to preach their ways to you.

ps nice photos of the planet sizes
