Sorry accepted! Look man, i worked on automode for low noise but i have a few problems with the driver code! I've found something that reduse the noise at 90%. The problem is that the auto focus led and flash don't work in automode and i'm searching the code to find where is the problem!
If i made the af led and xenon flash work, then the view finder lay down at 3FPS. When i found this problems, then i'm gonna resolve the indoor noise pictures!

i have the same problem i made a 2.8 driver outdoor pics r the best but indoors with low light it produces this horrible grainy noise, if u want help trying to get the low noise thing to work pm me i'll help.

that noise filter works great with during the day, but when it's dark the noise filter is too much and gives a really dark picture.

@number1

that is because we use wrong sensor code in camdriver

Kopritis, good news for us?

Kopritis I love your work man. You have really improved the photos from the original k800. I was wondering is there any way to make an option to force on the flash, cuz sometimes the camera don't quite think its dark enough to flash by itself.

I know Number1 has a force flash always version to his camdrivers but was wondering if its possible to make another option to toggle through when pressing the (*) key to force flash. but if thats not possible then could you just make two versions like number1, with a default flash behavior and a force flash one.

*off topic, whats the fps fror video set to on your 3.5 drivers? is it default or not. because it seems smooth enough and the zoom doesnt get stuck!

keep up the good work, and if you ever need a beta tester of your camdriver

forgive me on this one but i think im not following it right... if so please correct me.

was the anti-noise filter in K810 before?! i mean, i thought there was a post processing done with pix taken from K810 in order to eliminate noise and stuff. ive noticed this one on the stock driver. alot lesser noise compared to K750.

so this developing anti-noise filter on kopritis' driver... is this a different add-on feature?! a much stronger one i suppose...

so 3.5 is at default fps... hmm seemed smoother than the original

Did u juz copy the following code:

//
// 0 => Darkest .... 15 => Brightest
//
//---------------------------------------------------
seq_set_prop_13= #COM_EVENT(54,%0);

from the K550's camdriver???

is it working with K800/K810 camera? If it is,y SE didn't implement on K800/K810 camera???

is not only this lines. if you read the history of driver inside the camdriver dat you will see someware that was implement in the driver and they remove! why? i don't know why!? and i'm just added this properties to test the driver. if its not ok the camdriver then i will not post the final edition

wot sort of sized picture r u getting with 95% compression is it the same as 90% around 700kb-920kb

Posted by satan2k3
Really good work with 3.5 kop.Like others, the dark area also become my problems.Its wayyy better with 2.9. why dont just use the 2.9 as reference for the "dark-image" in 3.5? What i meant is, used 2.9 brightness/contrast value in 3.5? Just a sugesstion tho.

Posted by norbi_nw
WHAT DOES THE BRIGHTNESS/EXPOSURE PROPERTY DO??

yeah.look darker to me.but kop u really did a good job.keep going.for now,just loving your 3.5 n waiting your 3.6 final.=D

Macro pictures are not concludent. Even cheap cameras can do good macros. Make landscapes. That's where the quality is shown

those who think that the latest camdriver from kopritis is dark.
try playing around with the exposure settings... it will only take you 2 to 3 notches to the right or to the left...

all i can say is that the driver is good enuff for my everyday caps.

kopritis 3.6 camdriver

DateTime : 2007:10:04 10:28:29

the 3.6 pics seems to be darker,it was taken on 2007:10:04 10:28:29, the light source is different between these 3 pics.

@Kop
Which pic do u think is closer to the reality???BTW, hope tat u can take 2 pics using 3.5 n 3.6 drivers...

Posted by razec
Pics taken with kopritis camdriver have better dynamic range, look at the leaves at the left, isn't it more natural?

Posted by rockygali
i would also like to comment on the 3.6 driver.

the grass foliage below the pic seems sharper.. i can notice that it is grass... not moss or sumthin... the leaves are well colored... not too artificial.

and about the darkness... again... we can play on the exposure settings.. well done KOP!

:: EDIT ::

a shot from 3.6, INDOORS.

camphone is set to WB:Daylight, NO FLASH. +3 exposure

[img=http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/257/dsc01054pr4.th.jpg]

as you can see, or i hope you see this...
notice the horizontal lines appearing on the resulting image.
Those were present in the viewfinder.

Tho this can be prevented with some tweak adjustments, and with flash of course. but what if i want to use the setting ive stated above...
hope this minute bug be addressed in the final driver..

more power!

yes i agree to that, but 3.6 is too dark alrdy as i c...is that this is due to different condition? for me, i more prefer 3.5

Posted by genus
i got suggestion, why dont change the setting of twilight portrait by increasing the exposure, so that it can use for indoor picture taking without using flash? this will make the driver more better. Since this mode make better color balance when flash not on.
