I mod kopritis camdriver 2,7 with other camdriver and result is camdriver v. 2,7 ( 35 fps video ) , no bug when use zoom .

still zoom bug, but no best pic bug, very small delay. looks good.
i`m still waiting for a 30 or 35 fps video driver, without bugs ( zoom and best pic), without crashes and with improved details when taking pictures.

@petrutms only zoom speed is slow , but no bug when use zoom in / out .
I like camdriver 2,7 and mix with other driver and now I have detail pictures + good video without bug when use Best pic .

Posted by petrutms
slow = bug . doesnt matter because not many people uses zoom on 176/144 video !!!! great job. koprits 2.9 is better than 2.7, you could try modding that one. Thanks.

Posted by amarsidhu
2.9 is on which page friendz???

Posted by centur
I test 2.9 , but AF when use macro is bad and pictures have more noise.
4 me 2,7 is best !

hey juming, would u mind reading my post in the previous page? and what fixes does this currently have?

It's fix some bug, but not giving any feature or performance difference.

For anyone that need force flash and 25 FPS video record just try below.

I think 2.8 is better than 2.9, it take more sharper picture when i tested it ( flash on ), since 2.9 ISO reduce to 320, more noise and darker. But 2.8 give cold color balance, 2.9 do give warm color balance in my opinion.

Remember, just see the picture on your PC, not on your phone display, cause over sharpening makes picture not natural, if you prefer to enhance sharpening, better go with image editing tools on PC, cause it can enhanced as required, but if you get picture already over processed, you cannot undo it by any PC without degradatingimage quality.

Reduce ISO will reduce noise, default using flash is ISO 400, and lowering will result slightly darker picture but more clear image, now I'm running with ISO 250 that far more clearer noise compared 320, but drawback is it slight darker in some occasion, anyway using Exposure setting that already available on K800i, I think we can compensate the darkness of picture

Mind to share some photo taken ?

Posted by genus
Yes, thx Juming, the ISO250 do give more better effect !!!

But some of my picture having little blur...since it was not clear, could u change the setting so that it can make more sharper photo ( as much as 2.8 ) then i can compare it with the current one.
It was found that the 2.8 was too sharp when taking scenary photo. What is the sharpness of the driver u post it (ISO250)?

ISO 250 only works when u uses flash.

Posted by genus
This driver is i use Juming 25FPS video record with ISO250 driver re-edit by just only changing the sharpness to more higher a bit ( sharpness 06 ). But it is stil same version - 2.7

Finally, i can get more sharper picture as i like. But sometimes it may cause more noise.

just compared p990 and k800 shots. K800 sucks at colour reproduction, p990 have more natural colors... but more noise... maybe is the problem from k800 driver... 2.6 from number 1...

Posted by amarsidhu
click a landscape pic and then see what P990 clicks
i have both P990 and K800 and K800 is any day better.

no hard feelings

Yea i see the noise... I know where it comes! from compression 95% i don't know why! The new mod that i worked has the default compression...
With default compression i don't have so much noise

If I'm right, increasing sharpness will make color more imbalance...

Yes, i also think like that...

So, what is the better driver we need to change???

You should do trial and error, there is 3 driver around this thread, Kopritis, number 1 and mine you can try one by one, since color is somthing that usually personal taste, so there is no best driver for everyone, but surely there is a driver that meet someone taste.

Posted by pedrops
till now?
Can't really say
=P
nobody has done a good comparison test yet...
Kop's is good, Juming's is good and Number1 cam driver is good too..

just wait for Kop 3.2 and Number1 2.7.. They are doing a great job!

Thanks Kop

i see, 2.9 better.

You can't make these comparisons unless they're identical shots with each driver.

I'll take pix later, all taken from the same spot, with the phone placed on a flat surface (to remove possibilities of the hand shaking)

I have tried each of the driver, i found that each almost give the same color balance at different condition. It is quite hard to differentiate it, just one thing the same.. that is each driver do give not colorful picture compare to n73, but at night it do beter than n73 (^.^)

N73 pics are oversaturated but you can guys try to add below line into NORM_MODE macro:

#COM_EVENT(58,xx)

where (for example) xx:
ec = desaturation
00 = default saturation
35 = big oversaturation

command 58 is known from 2mpx models

Posted by genus
// Normal (non-document) mode settings
NORM_MODE = #COM_EVENT(55,00) // Reset contrast
#COM_EVENT(56,05) // Reset sharpness
#COM_EVENT(06,00) // Reset exposure

which line?

is that the contrast setting?
i didnt found any saturation setting....

Actually, i think the color for k800i is quite ok already, but it may due to the contrast & exposure, this will also contribute to the incorrect color when the picture is taken.

Hmmm...it seem that increase the saturation will cause the color imbalance ( yellow or blue ) appear more, still need more test on it, i just increase saturation to 02, later try 01, because to much saturation make the photo too colorful.
Actually i dont know whether it got change the saturation setting...mayb it change the constrast....but i just add in the line:

// Normal (non-document) mode settings
NORM_MODE = #COM_EVENT(55,02) // Reset saturation
#COM_EVENT(55,00) // Reset contrast
#COM_EVENT(56,06) // Reset sharpness
#COM_EVENT(06,00) // Reset exposure

Here is the picture
