did anyone try the 35fps mod yet? I've got a question is there any way where we can blow up the dimensions of video recording? make the vids a little bigger or something cuz i dont see any use for a 35 fps video with such small dimensions.

installed 3.0 - vid looks great, but when i zoomed in it did the same as the previous bugged 2.9. (it sort of stalls when u zoom in, but when u finaly get it to stop recording, the vid looks normal)
hope it helps
Posted by rockygali
yepp.. its just but normal.. since we all know wot can the machine handle.. the important thing there is.. even tho the recording stage is a bit jiggy.. go on and keep on recording.. coz the playback is superb...
this driver will really push me using my video rec function on K810...

Yes i know that but there's nothing more i can do. 25, 30and 35 fps i think it's to much!!!

guys, the 35fps video will get the BestPic into trouble. it will all go lagging when using cam driver with 35fps .
Posted by carelvdmerwe
another thing - is there a reason why it takes longer than usual to save the picture after it has been taken? [i have K810 firmware on my K800 - maby its that]
Posted by skylineR35
agree
my bestpic would lag like hell
but instead, the video speed is really2 good....
kopritis,,, help to solve please...

k then we wait for the results

Why have
put such crusty camera drivers on the K800i considering the amount of memory it has. There isn't a reason to have to compress the life out of a photo taken on this Cam/Phone as removable memory is so damn cheap. The K750i has got good drivers from the out-start and only need modding for a bit of fun, not necessity.

To be honest, I feel sad about the colour of the pictures taken by k800i. They don't look as good as even k750icid49. SE, you have let us down
Posted by limzm
i found a driver at sense where it took pictures with better colour.

I went to the trouble of making 2 of the exact same vids (by holding the two phones on top of each other) to compare the original 2.5 drivers video with that of the 3.0.
here you go:
2.5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3s72PXYGuc
3.0: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-bApiV_lMk

one question, is this camera driver works for k790?
Posted by xan K
yes it does, and it is a nice driver! Video looks good and photos are nice too! thanks Kopritis for the effort!
Posted by heara
ok iŽll try, camera driver k790= 2.5, but can i get the original driver after that?

could you post a sample of the 3.0 version with high speed motion inside the frame. i.e. something like this:

KOPRITIS YOU ARE GOD.
Seriously. Every day I come home and your drivers have been updated to be even BETTER!
Now the photo quality of my K800i is pwnage, and so is the vid quality! THANKS!
Posted by juming
Guys, I'm bring a little bad issue here, after tweaking many ways, and picture optimized much more than standard, I get an conclusion that annoying, in fact this conclusion already told by Mongoose, that SE only can handling an 900 KB image (maybe there is an more margin such as 1% in file size) so we cannot make reliable in take picture with all tweaked such 1 MB buffer and compression to 95%, I already try to reduce to 92% but still occasionally failed to save teken picture (camera reset).
Then I make an change to default 90% setting including buffer and all setting, suprisingly it never reset with same condition and object, and then I can get 906 KB image size with default setting, this can be bigger to maybe 950 KB in size if we tweaked compression to 95%, and then lead to reset camera.
So, the conclusion is 900 KB (with margin 1%) is the maximum camera can hold for an image, and with standard compression and buffer setting only can create an near to limit filesize. For you that count an all moment is priceless cause they cannot back exactly same, better set back the compression to default, cause it's most reliable setting can done.
And, I succeed combine all Kopritis 2.9 driver with 30 FPS (not 35 cause camera can only handle max 30 FPS), without bestpic problem.

Hi all,
I'm new to this modding thing. I saw the 2.9 cam drivers and the photo quality is AMAZING!
I've downloaded the driver, but how do I install it into my K800?
Also, is it possible to flash a K800 to become K810 using Waton service?
Posted by amarsidhu
even its good if you are watching the vdo from far away and full screen its quite ok.
keep it up kopritis
Posted by juming
Here revised camdriver, it's set back all compression and buffer size to default, slightly enhanced sharpening, 30 FPS video (with small glitch on zoom while record on normal mode), no problem at bestpic

K800 modders
if someone have camera crash because of too high (95%) quality try this:
below cam_ss_sync=5;
add line cam_ss_retries=5;
then modify:
seq_set_prop_5_9 = $"3M_low_comp"
#SET_REG(19,5F) // (95%)
#SET_REG(1A,5F) // (94%)
#SET_REG(1B,55) // (85%)
#SET_REG(13,84) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,20) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,58) #SET_REG(16,02);
before you check this in your phone rememeber to set 3MP and Fine quality
K800 drivers can take only one snapshot. if you set quality at too high value then camera will crash. to avoid this more snapshots should be taken (cam_ss_retries) to find compression % which isn't problem for 900kb buffer. second problem: flash will fire only at first snapshot and if first snapshot will fail then next snapshot will be taken but without the flash! you should check flash on/off state before you take snapshot and if flash is enabled then original compression settings should be used to prevent snapshot retakes. this works wonderful in modded K750/W800/W810 drivers

kopritis ver 3 camdriver doesnt crash...
but it has issues on BestPic the focus is a bit delayed... and the viewfinder jiggles.....
i guess an esatonian pointed that one out... that the Bestpic takes refuge on the video specs side... thats why this 35fps is overdone...
is this what the 30fps have corrected?

Thanks Raiderski, but I think some case the problem will occurs over and over again, I do much in macro mode, and I have some angle to take photo which is ALWAYS reset the camera if I take an snapshot, no matter what compression (beside original of course), I already try 95 and it's crash, try retake several time (3-4 times) and all failed, so I decrease to 92%, and this time also 4 of 4 times failed, so I get back default and it's never failed, and guess what, that file size is average at 905-906 KB in size with default setting (90), so no wonder it always failed if i decrease compression, cause it will give more than 909 KB (101% of handling capacity).
Your suggestion is good, maybe later I will try it, but in mean time the much reliable setting still 90% only, best pic already fixed so it can incorporate with video recording set at 30 FPS.
