02 is pletty anything beyond and your gonna start getting graining pictures with jagged edges, if you feel 02 isn't enough then you could try 03 anything beyond that is silly and will reck your pictures.

You can test my driver and you'll realise that's not correct.

Genus 5.8 AF LED on + Number1 2.91 Mix Camdriver
I mixed genus 5.8 exposure property with number1's 2.91 and changed flash color temperature, video is set to 18 fps.
TW landscape mode:
EV 0.0 = 4 FPS shutter
EV -1.3 = 2 FPS
EV -1.7= 1 FPS
EV -2.0 = 0.5 FPS

Is it possible to actually force exposure/iso?
I want to take long exposure shots like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:8_ball_break_time_lapse.jpg .
It seems that exposure isn't actually forced when there is light (I haven't verified it by looking at EXIF info, but the viewfinder is faster and the picture saves a lot faster too).

Sample photo with my mixed driver in TW landscape EV -2.0:

Also, can we implent a Supermode like the K750i has? It would allow for some very cool camera effects!

Kop's 2.7

Posted by shahnije
I've read in w810 forum on se-nse they said that if you increased the sharpness the less noise you can produce on night picture. That's why kop 2.7 sharpness 8 give more decent picture at night!!! I had tested it really works.... thats why koptritis always use high sharpness in his cam driver..... Maybe all you cam modders should try this only increased sharpness in night scene.....
Posted by quangbh30
I think so too. I took the pics in the night very easy with kop's 2.7. And i think it is better than other cam.

Genus 5.8 - All auto

Genus 5.9 - All auto

Ultimate v1.0 VividColour
-
Number1's 2.92
Sorry about the scene...it's my backyard...I'm liking 2.92 for now. Although ultimate vivid is not that bad, the FF function really made me think twice.
I tested under automatic cause that's what most people would do in their everyday photo snapping.
You be the judge.

Its clear from the pictures that Ultimate camdriver 1.0 has too much sharpness, the grass looks razor sharp. Number1 2.91 is better in my opinion.

I simply cannot see the point in taking pictures with dif camdrivers in Auto Mode and then comparing then.
What do modders work for? I guess they all want to make the best out of the camera, and that is CLEARLY NOT achieved by always using Auto Mode.
IMO you people should get pictures at the maximum quality you can get with each camdriver and then trying to compare them.
One suggestion for modding:
I agree that 08 for sharpness is beyond our needs, but what about something just above shapness 02? Perhaps 04-05 should improve our pictures' quality.
FOR INSTANCE, TAKE A LOOK AT KOP 2.7 WITH 08 SHARPNESS. AT THE WALL IT SEEMS TO HAVE MORE DETAILS THAN GENUS' AND NUMBER1' PICTURES. PERHAPS IF SHARPNESS IS TOO LOW PICTURES MAY LACK DETAIL.
ANOTHER THING IS THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S ALL THAT FUSS ABOUT NUMBER1' LATEST CAMDRIVERS. HIS 2.7 WAS CLEARLY THE BEST IN TERMS OF COLOUR REPRODUCTION, BUT AFTER THAT ALL HIS WORK SEEMS TO ADD SOME BLUEISH ASPECT TO THE PICTURES. I WOULD NOT GO FOR HIS 2.9.
TO ME THE BEST CAMDRIVER WOULD BE A MIX OF N1 2.7 COLOUR REPRODUCTION + GENUS MANUAL FLASH ISO AND SUPERNIGHT MODES + SHARPNESS SOMEWHAT BETWEEN 4-5.
Posted by number1
i made 4x crops of them pictures, i used my k800i to crop the pictures
genus 5.9 (sharpness 02)
number1 2.92 (sharpness 01)
ultimate vidid (sharpness 08)
Posted by Vit
@ Number 1:
Your pic has a low level of detail. I agree that a sharpness value of 08 is way too high, but 01 is the just the opposite.

Too high? I cannot imagine these pics better...
Ultimate Driver will always remain at Sharp 08

Hi to all
I test and compare this tree camdriver:
2.92 Number1
5.8 Genus
1.0 Ultimate
and after it i fix the colors with photoshop CS and in end i see the
all tree driver have take the yellow wish color in all .
In this tree driver the yellow wish effect is little in 1.0 ultra one .
Now how can we fix this issue ?
@Modders
Can you compare your driver photo with fixed one with PHOTOSHOP colors ?
and now the photos :
2.92 Number1
5.8 Genus
1.0 Ultimate
Photoshop edited colors

Hey i think number1 2.92 cam driver is good ithas good colour reprodution...
It would be better if he could fix the Best pic bug..

This is not a battle! We are here for helping each other. Do not demotivate people with these comments please!
Just choose best driver for you.

Yes, You are right. It is not a battle. The more people, the more ideas for best result.

Have you tried the Vividcolour camdriver by jomateixa? And also genus 5.9?

I see so many discuss abt the sharpness??? So how did you all opinion about the sharpness???
Actually no matter how sharp is it, the jagger alrdy there in the picture taken wif k800i, more shaprness juz make it more noticeable only.
@number1
So, which sharpness setting we should prefer???

I recommend somebody post a photo made in cloudy condition
with sharpness 08!!!
It's a messsss!
That sharpness is OK for me only if it's SUNNY!
Posted by genus
Here is the differrent sharpness setting comparison
08 ( as you can see that, the detail of the leaves from tree, it is very far from me alrdy, the jagger on the yellow line on road )
02 ( no more detail of leave from tree, there still jagger on the yellow line of road, but juz little blur because not clear & sharpness )
08
02
From my test, i saw that the jagger is same in both sharpness setting, more sharpness juz make the jagger more clear to be seen

imo, sharpness should be around 4 to 6 where overall sharpness of the trees and the yellow lines strike a balance

Hey, i'm using your cam driver version 5.9, i found there the super night mode is not working. When i use twilight landscape Ev-2.0, the exposure time is not 2 second same for -1.7 and -1.3.
it that my phone problem or a bug?
Posted by xwteoh
Genus 5.8
Twilight Landscape Ev-2.0
Posted by genus
The maximum exposure time is 2s, it wil only work if the environment is dark enough. The exposure time is variable depend on the light source.
Because if we set 2s exposure time for all light source, it will cause overexposure.
-1.7EV, 1s
