The maximum jpeg compression will change if you modify the target, max and min of jpeg size.
But if it is more than 95%, the camera will restart after taking picture, cause many bug. But it think this can be fixed.

The Dz 0.1 didnt have the twilightlandscape scene mode, it reset this mode become normal but use very slow shutter speed so that much longer exposure time can be made, but this give much higher ISO than default twilightlandscape mode. Mayb we can try it, c whelther there is much or less noise.

I will release 5.2 soon and 5.1 will not, because it have bug.
For more compression at 3MP photo, >95%, i think it is hard for k800i to work on it, the camera alway restart even i can get 96% compression. So, i will leave this thing for number1 2.9 camdriver. Good luck number1.

you can look at the EXIF information for that. the speed value like 1/250sec or for example 3 sec means the shutter speed.

twilight landscape in my 2.9 has shutter of 1/2 and normally produces iso 125,
VGA=100%
1mp=100%
2mp=98%
3mp=97%
these are the max values even using the default driver 2.5 i was getting pics with 97% compression on 3mp.

While we wait for Number1's 2.9 camdriver, heres one from me.

Based on gprsman 2.2 with twilight landscape settings from Dz 0.1, AF LED on in doc mode (genus), buffers and compression changed, flash color temperature changed to remove reddish look, AE property removed.
P.S. I doubt there is a shutter speed command, i think if you just lower the framerate i.e COM_EVENT(03,02) this gives 1 second exposure time in Twilight Landscape mode, and that i think is also the shutter speed.

I dont understand how you can get the 3MP photo compression of 97%, i just can get 100% compression for VGA, 1MP.. but for 3MP the camera will restart if much more compression setting, i want to know how did you do for it?
About twilightlandscape mode, 1/2s with 125 ISO ( default ) i think is enough.
How do you think about the saturation of colour, i decide to use 04 only.

Change WB doesnt have any effect on this. I think is too much colour saturation, mayb we should use value of 04.
The flash also cause little purple background

i said maxium is 97% compression for 3mp, average is 90%-96% it seems to depend on how more detail and how much u hold the phone still.

Hi... I've made some mode base on Dz 0.1 camdriver.
- ISO 100 in macro normal mode with flash
- 1/5 sec exposure time in portrait mode with flash
- 2 sec exposure time & ISO 200 in twilight landscape
- Different FLASH_WB to reduce warm effect in night mode with flash
I'm new in this modding things, so any opinion from modders here are very much appreciated.

Actually the firmware alrdy preset the maximum jpeg buffer size, the maximum jpeg in k800i will be about ~900kb, if you edit it using photoDj it will become larger, more than 1Mb.

No no no.... The pic doesnt have PhotoDJ or something and is original JPEG, it is original taked with K800.

yup, i think it is rare to get this, i sometimes also can get large size like this, but the photo quality still the same. Usually, the maximum size i can get is about more than 850kB.
I think better dont put so much of this thing, it is wasting time, the size is control by firmware too, since it alrdy set the jpeg buffer size ~900kB, we cannot change this.
