IR Receiver + bluetooth - Esato archive

I know it sounds kinda strange; but does anyone know of any product that acts as an IR receiver/transmitter - and can also transmit/receive bluetooth...

I think not but u can use the bluetooth for sending and receiving at the same time.

do you think it would be hard to have a device that merely receives IR signals, and passes the info via bluetooth to a device (and viceversa)

best thing would be able to plug existing devices together for that functionality
