looking to buy a couple of mp3/mp4 player for my kids to store their music. not quite ready to splash out on ipods for them... would prefer sg cheaper! but i have a mac... does that make a difference to what i should choose?

not all mp3 players support Macs. Check there software to see if they are MAC compatible, or ask in store.
look at something like a Creative/Iriver or Samsung for now then

creative zen stones are great!!! same size as the ipod shuffle and same storage but only £27.99!!!! they work fine with macs, they just appear as a drive!, and come in different colours so u can different ones for each kid...
