There must be some sort of legal loophole, or I'm sure SE, Nokia et al. would have sued years ago. I bet these copiers make just enough changes to not get sued or something.

Apparently they can get away with it due to the lack of copyright laws in china which is the reason we see so many Knock Offs coming from there. Its not just electronics but many other things as well that have rather poor quality copies made from there.
