What does "ever" mean ? There'll always be newer and better phones.

Indeed - "ever" is a silly word to use... if we're talking retrospectively, probably the P800 was the greatest in its day, but of course it doesn't compare too well now. Equally, all of today's best smartphones are going to look really backwards in a few years...

1. E90
2. P1
E90 has slight edge in features than P1...
l won't count N800 due to its size..

Nokia N800 is great! P1i might be good if they have fixed all problems that P990i/M600 have...

Hi all,
Well as silly as this thread is the true answer is what ever suits the individual users needs best, there is no perfect smart phone only what is perfect for you.
Having said that the most powerful and feature rich smart phone is the now realeased E90 this is the class leading device for now.
For me the E61 is the best smart phone for Data intensive entry tasks and the N95/N93/N93i the best multimedia smart phones.
The P1 could of been right up there and challenging for a top spot but the omission of HSDPA and lack of a proper graphics chip and that stupid Nexperia chip ruined what could of been so much more. Such a shame really as otherwise i actually think it's a really nice device just to expensive for what it is and lacking too much to be viable as a class leading device.
