Looks great. I was thinking of getting one too. One question though, is it true you can't download a song of the net and transfer it to the player, without having to burn it to a cd and then ripping it into sonicstage?
Apparently, sonicstage doesn't/didn't allow this because you might be downloading music without paying for it.

have not tried this. But once you dl a song, im fairly sure you can just add to the library in SonicStage from the folder where you saved it on your pc, and then transfer it over to the player.
It converts it itself, into the prefered file of course (i use atrac3 at 190kbps or what ever rate
perfect sound though)
I have no probs with SonicStage, others might, but its user preference as usual. You definately cant drag n drop with the program, but you cant with itunes etc either. So no biggie there.
I highly reccomend this player, even though it has a high price... its just fantastic. Sony has never let me down with protable audio

. think money is needed more right now. well, as you know its new, well not very old, havent used it much at all, probably about 3 hrs in total, yes, 3 hrs, most likely less. Havent been out much to use it, and doesnt get used at home. No marks on it or anything, could pass as brand new. Nothing used, well sorta, cd used once to install then sealed again, usb cable used once, back in plastic now tied up like new. The headphones havent been used at all. I use my Jays ones. (the jays are not included, The standard white Sony ex-82, or ex-85, not sure, are included) box comes with, the player of course, headphones, usb, manuals, extension cord for headphones, different size tips for headphones, software. looking for 160gbp inc delivery. The pouch i bought for it will also be included.
sad to see it go, such a good product.

btw, this is Jap version, so no volume restrictions like Euro/UK versions
