Ok, you have the money for a 103-inch plasma screen, but unfortunately, you live in an apartment on the sixth floor in London. What do you do? Close off the road and get a crane in obviously.

That was the case for one buyer of the Panasonic TH-103PZ600 screen this week. In the end, a joint effort between PSCo (Panasonic's distributor for the large screen) and home automation specialists Chameleon Integration. After weeks of planning, a road in Knightsbridge was closed off on Saturday morning and a crane took two hours to carefully lift the set into place.

How it will be removed when it breaks down or becomes obsolete is anyone's guess.

my brother and cousin used to deliver furniture. They had to deliver to my mums cousin in town one time couple years back. it was an apartment, 11 or 16 stories up or something. luckily they could walk them up the stairs, little safer and easier, but very tiring

can just imagine how hard this would have been...

When it's obsolete, getting it down will be easy. Just a simple push out the window...

i dont think thats over the top!

I think i would prefer a 103-inch LCD than a plasma... I'm all for the bigger the better.

Silly he could have got a projector and saved a packet, and I am talking High End 1080p up to 200inches. More money than sense rings a bell here.
