Just had a quick look at my account and in amazement 02 seem to have made alot of changes to theres tariffs there offering £15 deals which look really good if you don't want a phone, also they have now got 24 month contracts going

in shock horror you can't get anything decent for £20 anymore with them unless your willing to sell your soul for 18 months

btw have they been doing some eaves-dropping on "3" I mean three offer a phone with there 18 month £15 plans but 02 don't yet lmao!

hmm this is gonnabe a hard choice at ther end of the year for £15 with Sim Only 02 offer 1500 off peak calls (Don't know if this applies to anynetwork)
but anyways thats enough of a shock for me today

get tmobile flex 25 with web and walk which gets you a nice phone that you want after a month cancel the web and walk and you will get yourself 25 pound a month contract for 12 month

im already on a £25 per month contract and I want to reduce that

I think O2's thinking is, people on contract tend to spend £25+ on their contracts, they don't sell anywhere near as many £20 a month ones, mainly because you get f-all.

However, they offer good Pay as you Go deals for below £25, so might be worth looking at that if you really can't stretch to £25

O2's unlimited weekend calls on long weekend is going to be no longer capped at 2000 mins a month, unlimited calls will mean unlimited people watch this space for the new tariff's.

on those sim only deals you can get 1500 Mins of calls and 500 texts for £15 per month but what it doesn't say is who you can phone

ive got that abit similar atm paying £25
but I can call anyone on any network after 7pm!

any ideas if 02 will throw in a phone with the £15 deals like Three lmao!

Don't fancey PAYG that annoying balance thing would kill me

if it does not state who you can call then it will be cross network

The 1500 mins and 500 texts will be the off peak package to all networks.

The 'unlimited' is subject to a fair usage policy of 22,000 (thats right, 22k!) minutes or texts per month, but thats only a fair usage policy, so you could go over that

Theres almost not enough hours in the day to call or text that much per month lol.

lol im wondering if they'd downgrade me now to one of those now
btw I seem to be paying more then what £15 per month customers are getting !

will they not offer phones with these £15 packages???

To Miss UK. That annoying balance thing on O2 pay as you go can be switched off through customer services. And i got a question does anyone know if O2 are going to go down the same T Mobile route of Web n Walk type tariff. That would be great as im on O2 pay n go. Every other network seems to be doing it so why not O2. Anyone know.

I don't think O2 are planning to right now, but here's hoping for the future. Though to be fair, in the two shops I work in, I would estimate that about 5% of the customers we have come in ask about data tariffs, so it's still a pretty small market from what I've seen. Yes, most of you here want to use it more, but personally, I can't see the draw of looking at a full internet site on a little screen when a PC is never more than 10 minutes away.

As for the £15 a month, their SIM ONLY, so their just that, only a sim

It's a new scheme called Simplicity, where you get the same tariffs but cheaper for not taking a handset.

I have just signed up to the £15 a month 200mins and 400texts, and purchased the k750i from their site for £49.99, so I will still be saving a packet.

Do the mins roll over at the end of the month, or do they just start again.

Still though its a pulava 3 seems better but 02 ive been with them for 7 years

Posted by Miss UK
Will the other networks now follow with the £15 per month deals?

Posted by Miss UK
tried to get 02 to drop me down to a Sim only tariff yesterday but they wouldn't

a month earlier and I could drop down to £20 tariff
but now they wont let me

Stupid Idiots lol

Roll on December 23 so I can kill my contract off with them
