Select *GPRS data
Type in Photo Messaging below "Name:" and press the "YES"
*Photo Messaging [P|M] must both be capitalized.
*APN isp.cingular and press *Yes
*User ID WIXDC001@W5.MYCINGULAR.COM [case sensitive, zeroes not O]
*Password = ZXY203DC9K0402 [case sensitive, zeroes]
*save
Press the *NO key to go back at main screen.
*Update customers' email settings
*Add Email
go to:
http://photo.mycingular.com/ota.html
user name is *cingular [Lcase]
Password is *photo [Lcase]
*enter phone number then download.
*accept settings
E-mail account
Settings received
Install? [press yes]
Press the *yes -> main screen
12223334444@mobile.mycingular.com <--- subscribers' emaiL address.

Dumb question... I got it to download the settings to my phone without any problems, however do I need to subscribe to any special services to have this work? WAP works fine, but I cannot get this to work. I also have had problems getting it to connect to my regular email server. Are there any suggestions for getting email in general to work with cingular? Also, am I to use the 112223334444 email address, or do I need to replace it with my own? Thanks!

you need GPRS for photo messaging to work. since you have wap, you should have another email address (username@mycingular.com). Just go to http://cingular.com/beyond_voice/beyondmww and register.

WIX2 or wireless internet express for better photo messaging. once subscribed, register at the link below.
usernames are PERMANENT, think first before u make your email add.
