I wouldn't entirely agree with that, but i would agree the SONY is probably the best mass market electronics company in the world.

I love their LCD TV's. Rest is just meh! Although i agree their products are visually very appealing

ah talking abt it...BRAVIA! phew went to SONY World for a new TV..damn i was jst staring at those beauties and the salesman at me!
the only range i hate of SONY are the Head/ear phones!
well ive been testing all the 29"Tv's equipped with a 1200 Watts speaker.and among Samsung LG Philips and SONY...i found SONY the best!

Personally even for me about five years ago Sony was the no.1 brand in the world...but with the coming up of Apple's ipod and other companies like Samsung and LG it seems while the competition has raised their game,Sony has just 'stayed' there in terms of quality and innovation.Apart from the Playstation 3 i haven't seen anything pathbreaking from Sony in a long time...
