Apparently not! Apparently it will 'just appear' when you reboot your PS3 because it was supposedly part of a previous update, so all Sony really needed to do was flick a switch or something. But depending on what parts of Home you want to use, there will be some downloading involved.

Nice! Had a look at Home yesterday but it seems like the servers are very busy. I kept getting logged out and kicked from Home for no apparent reason. I had a look around my apartment but that's all I got to see before it errored on me. So I am yet to see Home Square and meet people and all that.
My girlfriend yesterday bought me Buzz Quiz TV and a PlayStation Eye. Looking forward to having a go with the Eye today. Buzz is really cool though. We had four people playing last night and it was really hilarious. Online is ok too, but not many people about anymore.

Yeah I couldn't for quite some time, but I was persistent and eventually got in. Not for long though, it kicked me out as soon as the tutorial decided it was time to roam outside my apartment.

it was so much better with the closed beta as you could get connnected every time.....
give it a week or so and it should improve (i managed 30mins yesterday before i got booted)

i been able to get in everytime i try recently...quick tip. . If u go to the bowling alley and play one of the ice breaker machines, you can win clothes for your avatar. . On level 5, 10, 15, 20.

I think home is overrated. I took one look and haven't returned. I don't see why anyone would waste their time on that if they had decent games to play. I've bought 4-5 games in the last few months and am still not sick of any of them... I haven't even made a dent in them really. Home can quietly die in the corner of my PS3 as far as I'm concerned.

When i used to have a ps3 everbody was saying that home was going to be one of the big things for the ps3 and it never really appealed to me. I sold my ps3( flying down to uni and it's too heavy to take
) 2 months ago and i don't feel like i'm missing out on anything.
Even worse is that the psp i bought gets used more than my ps3 did! I guess since the psp actually has rpg games.
Only thing i really miss is playing devil may cry 4, anyone here played that?

i havnt made any changes to any of my apartments as when i'm on home (rarely), i mainly play the addictive ice breaker arcade game.

Thanks mate. The a**holes that played it first gave it a two star rating so it's not looking good right now. I can tell they didn't make it to the end though cause they didn't leave a high score, so that proves they just suck cause it's not a hard level. Hopefully a few more people rate it and think a bit more highly of it.

No in the mall theres like a fence thing and if you go in you fall down and theres lots of points but no way to get up. (Oh s**t I just realised I could have pushed try again)

You guys fell down there? Whoops, I found it really difficult to fall down there when I tested it all out. I didn't realise so many of you would get trapped down there! Ummm... you're supposed to take the lift, but I guess you can try again if you do manage to get down there. Thanks all you guys who played my level!

Ok, I think the lift should be fixed up now. Maybe that's why some people gave me a low rating. Thanks for pointing it out!
I had to use a 3-way switch cause the 2-way switches break every time for some reason.
