Apparently now its gonna rain for a whole month according to the BBC, with gales and rain forcast for the next 24 hrs.

How rubbish is that? Whats the point of spending money on new shorts an stuff when there is no end in sight to the rain.

Posted by axxxr
oh no please don't say that, one more months of rain?..thats a joke!

Posted by goldenface
I know?

Its ridiculous, thats most of the Summer quite literally down the effin drain.

dont worry guys, i have rain here too

well actually, its winter, but there really is not a lot of rain unfortunately.... thats why the Victorian government has just announced a multi-billion$$$ desalination plant for the states water supply.... not good..... give us some rain God!!!

I'll be in Sydney again next week

...where its also chucking it down

......but I'll be spending a few days up in Townsville where its Beautiful one day, perfect the next (according to the TV ads!)

Posted by jcwhite_uk
The report actually says that in the next 24 hours there could be a month's worth of rain, not a month of rain.
Flood and severe weather warnings are in force for many parts of England and Wales with torrential rain and gales forecast for the next 24 hours.
A storm band is sweeping across from the South West, with the worst rain set to hit Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Forecasters say there could be up to a month's rainfall and more flooding than in recent days.

Posted by goldenface
Oh, praise the lord!

It might all be gone by the weekend when I go visiting friends but the 5 day forecast isn't looking too inviting.

Posted by KingBooker5
Really? I think you mean by the end of the month. From what I heard were due some warm weather next week

Posted by Miss UK
This rain is what they need apparentley,
last year was that hot that we suffered so the rain is making up for it!

tbh though we have had enough now me thinks

just hope it stays abit dry tomorrow, ive got a big day ahead then lol

At least the hosepipe ban isn't going to happen again anytime soon! Really did my head in last year because I couldn't wash cars well with just a bucket!, really need a pressure washer to do it. And afterall, it is sort of like my business.

lol. That had to be the most pointless ban in the world!!! I still used my hosepipe when they wre banned! I mean :WTF: ? Theres to much water in the damn world! There telling us all this sh*t water levels are rising (even that scans have shown they havnt risen) and then they tell us we shouldnt waste it! I dont think theres any think wrong in narrowing it down a bit!

We're never happy though are we?

It should be 25 degres every day, nice and cool at night when you're in bed and if it rains then it only rains when you're asleep.

Posted by KingBooker5
lol can you believe in Poland its 30!

I want the African heatwave again!

Last year the reason why it was so hot is because there was a huge heatwave from Africa!

Come on winds in East Africa! Blow that extra bit harder north!! And bring that hot air with ya!

Im gonna die if this sh*te weather continues! ! !

its annoying i had to take the day off work today because i could'nt drive to work the roads near my work were flooded n i got grief for it typical

Posted by goldenface
Man dies in Flood

Apparently he was trapped in a manhole and they tried to rescue him but failed.

Posted by Trev1982

Posted by Sammy_boy
Well, the weather's been a great 'welcome home' present for me!

Just come back from Corfu, where they've been having a heatwave and it's been 40C+, to 16C and torrential rain!

Bit of a shock to the system lol!

Posted by scottt

Posted by fatreg

Throwing it down and gales here in Newark, half way between Nottingham and Lincoln

Posted by fatreg
newark is in Ct in the USA cyco..

or is that just another address they stole!?

Posted by Cycovision
Interestingly enough, Newark in the USA was named because it was founded by pilgrims from Newark on Trent (my town's full name) in the 1700's.

It's on shittypedia somewhere, which is where I found out originally

EDIT: I thought Newark was in New Jersey? or is that what CT is?

What a washout!

We've had just one sunny day so far this month. Found a cracking picture of some lightening though:

LOL, bless you have rain in summer . As the time goes, here in Macedonia the weather during the summer = HELL . It's really HOT, so a little rain would be nice, but...

Posted by goldenface
Lucky you!

I am on the verge of flying off somewhere next weekend just to find a bit of sunny, dry weather. This has got to be one of the worst British summers ever!
