Hi, there!

Go to >*<<*<* then Service info and Phone info.
After your model name has appeared press 2,4,6,8 and check that out!

You should be careful when playing with this code. I'm not sure I remember this correctly, but I think the code **04* is for changing the phone's lock code, and the correct syntax is

**04*( old PIN )*( new PIN )*( new PIN again )#

So, if the phone's lock code has been left unchanged, i.e. 0000, nothing in particular happens if the code is typed, otherwise, the message "wrong pin" appears, and, if you try this 3 times in a row, the phone will become more or less permanently locked, it depends on brand and model whether it is bricked or not.

I think - is down and + is up on ut joystick/ navigation keys but im not sure

Turning on phone without sim is not working.

I have a w880i that is asking for a 'phone lock code'.
I have tried xs++ and also setool and these do not detect my phone, my pc comes up with a message 'USB device not recognised'.

Is there any way to reset or find out the 'Phone lock code' directly from the keypad of the phone or from any of the secret menu's?

I had the same problem yesterday. I updated the phone with SEUS and then used the code 1234, and it worked. I did not try the code before updating though, so it may work without an update.

its not the code for work phone without sim
but its for using any phone without knowing the phone code

Guys there is this code < * * < i.e left. star. star. left I found networks. So I tried changing things you know modify. Now just left with 1 attempt all. what will happen if this last 1 block? help guys or please tell me the network code. thanks

try this â†8888â†’ it will change language to set as on sim.
Note: set language to other language, and try that, you will see.

And **04*0000*0000*0000# that code used to chang PIN CODE bassed on sim card.
**04*oldpin*newpin*newpin#

"â†" mean d-pad or joypad left, "â†’" mean d-pad or joypad right
