Hi all.

Basically what im thinking of doing is buying an itrip for when im in my bros car as we switch through loads of CD's when were out so i though buying one would make good use of my ipod video.

What i was wondering tho is if its easy to set up with the stereo?

Also does the bass and everything run smooth with the system?

Any info appricated!

Cheers

Very very easy to set up. Most come with changeable wavelengths, you just find a vacant w/l on your car stereo, select the same one on your itrip and you're good to go, it really is that easy.

I have one of these:

The only problem I have with it is the range isn't all that good, it only works in certain positions in my car.

My mate has one of these, and although a bit more expensive it also charges it and the quality was perhaps SLIGHTLY better, although that could be his car better than mine etc.

As for the bass, I was very surprised by the quality transmitted from mine, got the whole car shaking!

It's not quite cd quality but it really isn't that far off...

Cheers for the reply mate reason i asked is beause my bro has a sub and amp etc in the car so wondered if it would be tinny bass or proper but i suppose its worth parting with the cash eh

Well so long as the sub works with the radio then I see absolutely no reason why it shouldn't work with the itrip, after all as far as the car knows it's just another radio station.

Sorted bud just a shame subs dont really sound as good with the radio than CD's but think ill buy one anyway

kl m thinkin og fettin one of these. would it work 4 n95?

nd on a side note sorry bout the typin it wiv my left hand onli cs i broke me right wrist

Well no these don't fit phones, only iPods.

I'm not sure if there are ones out there for phones....

The Belkin Tunecast simply uses a 3.5mm jack so would work with the N95.

Only prob I find with these things is if your driving about a bit a free station in your area may not be free in others, meaning you have to keep retuning it.

Mine works over other stations. I use it on 94.9 which is some rap station, and it never seems to replace it.

I bought an iTrip quite a while ago, and it was virtually useless to me. The problem was that I had to find a radio frequency which was vacant, in order for the iTrip to work. I'm in central London, and that's just not possible. I got it to work twice: 1). in my underground parking (where obviously there is no interference from radio channels) 2). In the Blackwall tunnel (also no radio interference).

If you live in an area which has vacant radio frequencies, a device like this would probably work well. If the airwaves where you live are clogged up, I'd think of trying something else.

I think it would be fine in my area bud

I've just realised I got it wrong, it's 90.4 that i use.

Try that mate.
