I know Orange can send at least 140k on MMS as myself and a m8 where using it last night and testng to see how much we could send. I think you have to be on the orange network though to use it.
Its funny how i cna send and recieve large mms but still not get a file bigger than 3k on GPRS

Have you tried our MMSC service @ http://www.nowmms.com?
I haven't gotten my T68i updated yet ... but basically we determine the max size MMS that the phone supports based on the UAProf from the phone.
As long as the UAProf says that it supports it, you should be fine with our service. I think we've got a theoretical max of around 256KB, which is limitation of SAR (segmentation and re-assembly) in the WAP gateway.
If you give it a try and have any issues, I'd be curious to hear about them.

Well I'll be damned... it worked for me...
I live in norway and have telenor subscription.
Are you sure this is free...
I don't want to get any surprise bills in the mail..
Too bad I don't know any who can actually receive MMS

Hvor fikk du instillingene fra? Netcom MMS?

Well, someone can download anything through wap even the size is 100kb above. It is by not using the GPRS and using the WAP CSD of your service operator instead. Try it. Contact your service operator so you can check whether they support wap only without GPRS. But I tell, it will cost you lot because the bill will run per minute and not per KB download not like in GPRS. That's all.

Can you also send mms to people who don't use nowmms? And what happens with emails sent to your nowmms account with an attachment and over 1000 characters? Will those characters be split up in separate mms-pages?

I'm with cingular and nowmms works great as long as cingulars gprs is working:-)

How do u pay? MMS-messages are free from NOWMMS. Do u only pay for using ur GPRS???

Rui, read the FAQ they cover their costs with advertising, as much as they say you will enjoy the content, it will be unwelcome txt/mms messages, and giving your number out to ANY advertiser is NEVER a good idea, cellphone spamming is set to be the next scurge.
You just pay normal gprs/wap connection to send.

Hi,
That's even more expensive then sending an MMS by my network.
My network charges 0.025 Euros for Kb in GPRS WAP and 0.39 Euros for a MMS message.
So if I send a 30Kb MMS by MMSNOW and pay online the WAPGPRS traffic, that's 30*0.025 = 0.75, and MMS sent by MMSNOW only is cheaper if i send a MMS with 15Kb or less.
For now it's ok, because WAP GPRS is free until the end of the year, but then...

Cheaper than Free....How???

What APN do you have to use to get it work? I mean i have different APNs for wap profile and profile that lets me connect to "normal" internet. It offcourse includes different charges (monthle fee 4 my WapOverGprs and charges per unit for other data transmission). I'm a little scared that if i'll make changes in my profile, i'll find more that monthly fee on my bill.....
