Most probably more, the smaller things get, the greater the cost (normally anyway).
Posted by esoqq
£39.99 according to the link posted above by Coxy. Just about the same as a Duo then.
Not in stock though at the moment I notice.

I'll keep using pro duo devices until the frenzy is over.
Most of theses frenzies are consumer driven anyway. Willing to switch over so fast to the next new thing. It puts all of the marketing big wigs in the drivers seat...... ca ching ca ching..... $$$$$$$$$.......
Besides my W810 with a 4GB Pro Duo does the same or more than the new devices with the micro cards.
If consumers would hold out just a little, then as consumers we would be dictating what we are going to pay for and how much........

Is their page not updated, or is it really true that K800i does not support 4GB?

sony tend to make you pay for the name so i would advice the sandisk as no1 even wil recognise that it is sony so its a waste of 20 pounds, they are both currently out of stock tho at tht site

I am wonderin' WHY some people needs BIG-capacity memory cards . . .
Posted by REO
@Jojo
Take someone like my self I need more than 2 GB.
I keep about 1000 + songs, Videos, Audio Books (for work).
Audio Books are convenient when I'm traveling and need to catch up on Books I am required to keep up with related to work. I need my Gigs........

@Dart5 I have a 4GB card on my W810. Works like a charm.
I though about an 8GB at first...... 4GB works great for me right now.

wtf... there's already a 4gb m2? i haven't even seen a 2gb m2 on this side of the world.
Posted by *Jojo*
@lazy - Well, I've seen a 2GB one at OUR end dude . . . but NOT a 4 GB one just yet . . .
Posted by mortengutt
Doesn't anybody know when it will be in stock, haven't Sandisk confirmed anything? Or any shops?
Posted by renesis
I had not seen anything here in the D.R....
Posted by Dart5
Had this confirmation from SE when I asked if the K800 could handle the 4GB card:
'With regards to your enquiry, this handset can take a 4gb m2 card'
On the web site above, it says the 4GB M2 will be available from 1st July.
The main reason I'd use the extra memory is really to stuff as many songs & audio books on as I can. I really can't be a**ed to keep swapping stufff every week or so will save some hassle.
PS also nice the have the latest!!
Posted by lazeeboy
@jojo - really? where can i buy a 2GB m2 and how much is it? planning to upgrade from 512mb.
besides, i think my k610i can't handle a 4gb m2.

I went out to buy a 4GB M2 today but got me a 2GB M2 since they didn't have them in stock yet.
Also on a note, SanDisk makes the best memory sticks. The M2 is also a joint venture with SanDisk so no need to get a Sony M2 if there are SanDisk M2's in stock.
