settings for 3g? - Esato archive

this is a pretty stupid question probably but I can't find the answer and I can't check it out as I don't live in a 3G area!

I've just got a K800 on Vodafone. I've debranded it and put the GPRS and MMS settings on from the SE homepage.

Does it need any other settings put in to allow it to use the superfast Internet rate when I am in a 3G area?

Or does it use the GPRS settings or summat?

if u are in 3g area, the fone will automatically use that network, only if u disable 3g access, u cant.

a gprs connection automatically switches to the faster connection, either edge or 3g, as per signal availability...
