I think it is possible but you need to set up a server or some sort - not the easiest way, that's for sure!

SE P990i. In my country you can buy it for only about USD 440 (unlocked and unbranded). Dunno the price of it in ur place.
Posted by Miss UK
N95 choose your seller wisely on eBay though
phones are about £320 is I paid £330 for a T-Mobile one,
and good news is you can debrand them anyways
Posted by The Lostprophet
n95 is good
P990i is good as well.
have used both, they are great phones.
memorycards are pretty cheap for them both as well so memory isnt much of a issue,
i brought my 2gb sandisc card for my n95 for £12 and i brought a fake 4gb card for my p990i for about £25.

Nokia E70...
best phone ever...
gutted I sold both of mine...
Posted by feelthesting
hey hw is nokia n91 and e65
Posted by Miss UK
just recieved a fake one of those
I'd say it probaly a good phone but if you can get the cash together get the N95 and look after it well
Posted by MWEB
E65 is THE star of the Nokia range IMO, N95 prices are in freefall at the moment (i passed on one at £235), E61 and E61i are nice too, WiFi is essential nowadays even in a mid range handset, where i live i have 1 free WiFi spot for every 1K of population.

Oh dear, you have to laugh I suppose, these people who have little or no grasp on the English language, makes you wonder what kind of education this county's running right now
Posted by sunils120
and what makes u conclude that?
Posted by Miss UK
Daedulus, you have to remember this forum isn't in the UK afterall,
btw it originates from Norway..
not everyone in the world is fluent in english afterall
btw N91 is a nice phone guys but the asian version doesn't support Wi-Fi,
if your planning on buying this handset I suggest you look at EU versions because they have Wi-Fi capability!
Tbh though go and buy the NOKIA N95
Posted by QVGA
i dont know which asian version people talk off because 2 N91's i've seen had Wifi.
Also, can someone confirm whether phone wifi can be used for data transfer to and from the phone?
Posted by Miss UK
Manish has a N91 and he's says that his version doesn't have Wi-Fi,
he's from India
What do you mean by Data?
I can look at almost anything with my N95 connected to my Buffalo Wi-Fi router, the T-Mobile homepage loads, everything works on it just like im using the net this min connected the same way but with my laptop.
Posted by QVGA
no, not the internet. like can i copy a song from my pc to phone via wifi? or copy pics?
Posted by Miss UK
I haven't tried that i'll have a go later for you and post up tomorrow
ive tried tp listening to Sunshine-live using my phone cos it has Realplayer on it, however when I click to play it the net just closes down.
might have to look at settings
ive installed a Anti-virus on myphone didn't realise you could

Hi Miss UK,
Virtually any one you ask will tell you that is a waste of money if you decide to keep and and pay for it. Also it is rather pointless and the only thing you will achieve is to use up your phones valuable resources. Unless you just accept and install things without thinking about it or are using a lot of free stuff from dodgy websites you are really at no risk. This is not just MO opinion either but comes from many people far more knowledgeable than me.

... agree with dogmann - you're muchmuchmuch more likely to catch a problem opening a dodgy e-mail/sms/mms, and it does slow down your lovely phone!!!
Posted by Miss UK

been abit pre-occupied last couple days
Don't wanna pay for the antivirus so int biuying it lol

According to one of the guys who presided over the choosing of the name wifi, it doesn't stand for anything, but is just a play on the term "hi-fi", and that "wireless fidelity" came into use after the term had already been chosen:
http://boingboing.net/2005/11/08/wifi_isnt_short_for_.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi
Though I imagine "wireless fidelity" will become the accepted meaning.

@max, that was a really interesting and informative piece of news! I didn't know that, but I'm very much enlightened now. Thanks for the information, mate.

Nokia E61i.
The ONLY Nokia I have owned.
Kicks ASS!!!!
Posted by Miss UK
maybe you should now try the N95 that kicks bigger A**

You might be surprised, Miss uk! Bigger screen, far better battery, AND build quality.....even OLD E61(NON-i) has more RAM than N95(ask Scottt)....
....soon as it's back, my N95's going....and only E61i(maybe E90) will replace it!

hmm ive seen it,

Hi all,
I have to agree with Aware about just how good the E61 is as if i had to give up one of my devices it wouldn't be the E61. Even though it doesn't have an as powerful chip as the N95 it still does everything very well and runs my Tom Tom 6 beautifully on it's large screen.
The N95 is my Multimedia toy and for Music, Video, Web browsing and fun stuff and only carries Calendar via sync and downloads E-Mails, no office Doc's or Pdf's and no way would i use it for my Sat Nav either. What i am waiting for is the true E61 replacement that hopefully will have the new OMAP Series 3 chip and i only bought a N95 to stop myself getting the E90 which is going to be really expensive. N95 & E61= E90 plus gives me the flexibility to only take the smaller N95 when i don't need everything. As i always use cases that attach to my waist carrying 2 devices is no hassle and what i am used to as i have 2 Sims anyway. In fact i can quite confidently say the E61 is the best smart phone i have ever used and owned.

Marc,
Have you ever had the opportunity to use an E70? I've used both the E61 and E70 and I'd argue that the E70 is better, purely because it is more pocketable but in general I think the E series of phones are pretty spot on, never ever seems to be any issues with them at all
