video converter - Esato archive

i have a 2,2gb movie with a 1280*720 resolution,5,6mb/s video bitrate and i want to resize it to a "decent" 640*360 since my computer can't play it well.
i have tried m3, winavi video converter, but it either crashes or cant set up resolution high enough
