Ive got halebop and theyve been upgrading so we havent been able to use gprs for a while but it seems to be somewhatin order now.

I use Halebop on phone and Vodafone on the other one.Both of them T-68I and I use GPRS on both.GPRS is working on Halebop now but not their homepage

i've tried it yesterday but it seems down until now....i used pc to download the theme I want using the IR port and seems no problem to me....

It was down for some time yesterday but has worked ever since. Maybe they dont let outsiders use their ip anymore ?

halebop gateway was accesible now on my t68....i wonder why have to do this... last week i cannot use the halebop gateway so i was thinking of to reset all the settings on my phone in MASTER RESET menu...so it goes...i decided to reset and after I that, I key-in again the halebop gateway and it works!!!!!! so i think it was not the outage from halebop.. it was on my phone.... now my phone working smoothly and already well organized!!!!!!!!

Halebop told me that they had a problem with T39/68 and that you couldn't reach their site by wap from those phones.

of course its global, thats the point of the internet.
i use orange GPRS internet to connect, and then their ip in the wap profile means i use their gatewy instead of oranges to browse WAP
note: this will not work with oranges WAP-only package, as oranges wap GPRS connection will only allow your phone to open a socket connection to their WAP gateway, thats why you cant use it for email etc.
if You mave normal orange GPRS it will only work with "connect using-> orange GPRS internet"
should also work from any connection allowing internet access (i.e. dialup isp, GSM, and GPRS)

No! the company is for sweden. And is so far a very small cellphoneoperator web based. Owned by the swedish tele company TELIA, i use them on a prepaid account

yes, but anyone can use their gateway simply by using their ip to access it, from any network, anywhere in the world. obvously you will need a data account with your own network, but you can connect to any ip in the world to use as a gateway (unless they have passwords on)

that wasnt what I read in the global remark. it just stated that my op was global. Ip you can use whenever,whatever, right. I never denied that.
