nay count, i mean what i say... piratedly... pirated discs, sellings for as low as quarter a dollar a piece... get two (1 movie) for half a dollar... ha ha ha... Am i lucky...

Pirate copies would kill all tension and excitement on such movies! Go see it in a theater if you can afford it..! Superior sound and image quality is worth the money.

BTW, great movie, great acting, but i think this was the last Spider-Man movie, everything seems to have been tied together. The story is complete..

Buying pirates lower the film studios make from the releases and then you've got to wait longer for them to make another film.

I've not been able to see Spiderman 3 yet...

Like i posted in the other thread

Well as a big Spiderman fan i have to say i was disappointed, i went to see it Friday (day of release). It took far too long for the film to get going, the story line was OK but it seemed like they tried to make it appeal to a 'cooler' audience which made it very cheesy in some bits.

Have to say the action scenes and the animation/CGI of Sandman and the like was very good.

S T O P ! ! ! Discussing this movie here . . . . . I haven't SEEN the flick yet

Posted by p900 lover
The name of the thread is "thoughts" so i dont see why you dont expect it to be talked about?

Posted by *Jojo*
@p900 - Some THOUGHTS are making me 'calculate' the adventure/action-landscape of the movie dude . . . .

Just like what you posted here:

well, we don't have any theatres showing those movies, here in kashmir... ha ha ha... so pirated discs is d only option... genuine discs may cost 10 to 15 times more, so that's not my cup of tea...

Posted by lastikcizme
@aatuif, well, i guess that's OK then dude. The only problem then is the very low quality of some pirate copies.

Concerning disc prices, i can say we had similar problems in Turkiye. Genuine discs used to cost around $35 for a single-disc DVD movie, whereas you could get a pirate copy for around 4 dollars..! Most didn't go for the genuine discs. They sell a genuine DVD for $15 nowadays, so more people can buy originals..

Green Goblin must have been watchin Back to the Future 2 a lot for the idea on the new Goblin Glider.

Hover Boards anyone

Oh and If I remember right. Parker got with Gwen Stacey before he ever went with Mary Jane and waaaaaay before Venom came into the storyline (Gwen first appeared in Amazing Spiderman#31 in December 1965 while Venom first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man#298 in April 1988).

Gwen Stacey hated Spiderman as she blamed him for the death of her father, Police Captain George Stacy who was killed by falling debris during a fight between Spiderman and Doctor Octopus.

Gwen Stacey was killed by Spiderman when the Green Goblin threw her off a bridge. Spiderman stopped her fall by shooting a web line around her foot and the sudden halt in her decent snapped her neck.
Parker/Spiderman was angry at what happened and ends up in a major fight with the Green Goblin (Norman Osborn at the time) and the Goblin is killed by his own Goblin Glider (similar to how he died in the first Spiderman movie)

Don't get me started about the many appearances by Gwen later on which involves the clone saga, Miles Warren/Jackal, Norman Osborne, Gwen and Norman Osborne's children and also stories about when she (or one of her many clones) become Carnage.

Little bit on Venom (original story):-

The Venom symbiote came to Earth with Spider-Man, at the end of the Marvel Secret Wars. Soon, the symbiote began to take over Spider-Man. It was rejected, and later found and bonded with Eddie Brock, a journalist at the Daily Bugle, and later Mac Gargan, the former Scorpion.

@staz - Thanks for the SYNOPSIS mate .. . will SKIP on the this 3rd PART and will just wait for the 4th episode in DVD . . .

Posted by Rookwise
Its also worth mentioning that the actors contracts were only for 3 movies. Only one actor has mentioned that they would return if a fourth movie would be made and that was Kirstan Dunst (spelling ??)

Posted by *Jojo*
@staz - Ya mean the next Spidey movie will not STAR . . . Tobey Mcguire. I think it's - Christine Dance

Posted by alrodlop35
Christine Dance????? hahahahahahahahaha

Kirsten Dunst?

Another litle bit of Venom info

An aborted Venom film, written by David Goyer for New Line Pictures, would have featured Carnage as the primary antagonist, but the script was never produced and the rights for the Venom character reverted to Sony. Many fans have speculated that Carnage could be a possible villain if the Spider-Man movie franchise would contiune. Seeing how Dr. Curtis Conners still has a sample in his lab.

I never read the comic, so I'm not offended by perceived slights against its plotline.

As for the movie - III was definitely the best of them all. Best story, best characters, best effects. (Tobey McGuire really stole the show as the Venom-infected Peter Parker!) Never did I fell this "dragged" in any way. And, our local theater upgraded to digital projection, which was icing on the cake.

In all, a great finish to the franchise

Yip!!! I mean I almost wanted MJ to fall out of the car!! There were to many ugly chicks in the movie, that blonde on yurgh and even the girl next door!!

Posted by Hlcn Twst
Y'all crack me up.

MJ is supposed to have a "girl next door" quality: very pretty, and believably so; not supermodel hot. Kirsten Dunst captures that perfectly. Granted, someone like Scarlett Johansson would certainly be easy on the eyes, but she's too gorgeous for that part.

And, nobody likes Paris Hilton except Paris Hilton

Posted by lastikcizme
Hlcn Twst, you have scarred my soul forever with that Paris Hilton photo you posted!

You're better off!

I used to like Paris too, until she started associating with Britney Spears and her deepening insanity.

Now it's Scarlett all the way, followed by Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Serenity) and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs)

I thought it was funny how Symbiot Spidey became an EMO.

I was sad he did'nt say funny comments (as usual) (except he did say one).

Was it me or did he TOTALLY lose his spidey sense!

Lots of things disappointed me, but I still liked it,
