...yeah, I hate most TV with a vengeance, but there's got to be something on some times?!
So - tell us what you don't wanna miss "tonight" (maybe leave out the daily soap fix and other regular features...)
thanks

Posted by oneofthose

CSI
House MD
Grand Designs
Diagnosis Murder
Location, Location, Location

That is what i watch anyway not to everybodies taste, hahaha. Oh and hustle is back soon on BBC 1, cracking show.

Posted by maggflodd
Csi las vegas, I hope....Good one! Hate the NYers!
Tonight 10pm"shaft" (samuel L...) is on ch4 - nice silly flic

Posted by haynesycop
Definately the original is by far the best although i do watch the others sometimes i must have seen all the original episodes about 10 times each at least lol.

Have you tried house md at all? It is hilarious, tried to get my Mum to watch it but she can't get her head around Hugh Laurie having an American accent, silly woman.

I don't watch that much tv anymore but if i do it is usually law enforcement or medical based, stuff like judge john deed is good and walking the dead etc etc.

What kind of stuff do you usually watch?

Lost, and its on tonight

Posted by haynesycop
You know i could never get into that watched the first couple of episodes but didn't do anything for me.

Does anybody watch prison break my friend recommended that not had a chance to watch it yet though.

Posted by maggflodd
I used to love "gimme, gimme, gimme" (with kathy burke) - still not over the fact that BBC cancel it and then americans buy the rights and turn it into "WILL and GRACE".... grrrrrr
Else? hmmm regularily I'd only actively switch on for csi las Vegas (Grissom, Sara Sidle - loved her PETA campaign )... news make me wanna slap every journalist around.....

Posted by haynesycop
Mmmmmm Grissom mmmmmm yummy yummy, lol! I love CSI! Have you read the spoilers for the CSI finale? OMG OMG OMG!

Jorja Fox actually persuaded him to try being a veggie. I couldn't do it myself me likey the meat.

Gimme gimme gimme was fantastic and i loved Will & Grace too but only the first couple of seasons went downhill after that.

Waterloo road - thursdays 8pm
Desperate Housewives - wed
Match of the day, saterdays.

There the things i watch at that time every week.
hen theres simpsons, south park, family guy n drake and josh that i watch whenever its on.

Posted by haynesycop
Waterloo Road? Is that the one about the school? I tend to stay away from British drama to be honest. much prefer American television, British tv died after the 90's. Bring back only fools & horses, men behaving badly etc etc.

prison break season 4

Posted by haynesycop
Must be a typo their only on season 2 according to the website and that is in the USA who have it before anybody else.

Posted by blu_6779
prison break is great, but I'm not too sure about the last episode of the 2nd season, reminded me of the Colbys.

Posted by alrodlop35
The only shows I'm currently paying attention to are Lost and The Amazing Race: All Stars. I think Lost's producers are just doing whatever pops into their mind and they´re gonna have a hell of a lot of explaining to do when season 7 comes along. What the hell is that black cloud anyway?

Well, 5th Gear is back on tomorrow although it doesn't even come close to Top Gear, it's still a motoring show. As haynesycop mentioned, Hustle is back on and they're showing the old series' of Brainiac on Sky Three. Oh and the new series of Joey was on Five earlier on today and it's on every sunday for anyone that wants to watch.

I agree with you that 5th Gear comes nowhere near Top Gear, but I used to watch 5th Gear sometimes, as it was ok for a motor-programme. Now, I just can't stand watching it after they got that blond idiot presenter on it. I have stopped watching it because of him, he's such a thick twat that it's actually unbelievable. I hate him, I hate him, I hate him....

It's a shame Life On Mars isn't still on, that was a 'must watch' for me!

Go buy the DVDs, a very well made and original series, better than anything the States could offer!

Posted by Nanu
life on mars is great i have yet to watch the second series, as i have it on tape cause it clashed with CSI

What??????!!!!!!!!!!!

You must be joking. I'd like to see some pictures of that. You could really make big bucks selling it to a fan enthusiast.

Posted by kwabs2006

im dead serious!! prison break season 4
ill try and upload photos later

Posted by alrodlop35
OK, so now I'm absolutely 100% sure you're lying. Now that I think about it, it's so ridiculous I can't believe I even considered the possibility for an instant.

Anything on tonight?

Posted by Trev1982
Prison break rocks i seen both seasons. you must have been mistaken with disc 4, she steps down bout 5 episodes from the end of the season, right rubbish ending cant wait for the 3rd season now tho

Posted by Hlcn Twst
Never-miss: Battlestar Galactica (no more until 2008 ), Heroes
Also: Jericho, The Office, Scrubs

That's it. I've cast all other TV adrift from my schedule.

Posted by arien617
@London_UK

They've ditched the blonde bloke (forgot his name) and they've got Tom Ford as a replacement.

Hehe, hadn't watched for ages (because of the blonde guy), but watched tonight, and he was not on there anymore!!! Decent prog. now, guess 5th Gear is back on my viewing schedule. Btw I liked the Brabus Rocket, which was featured tonight - 0-120mph in 10secs!

Posted by arien617
Loved the rocket!!! The rest of it wasn't too great though.

WE NEED TOP GEAR!

Anyone else find "Doctor Who" less interesting after Christopher Eccleston's departure? The season afterwards had some weak writing IMO, except for the finalé.

Is this 3rd season of the "new" series any better?

really really wanted to like doctor who because tv treats scifi/fantsay so shabbily while all their "normal" programmes get more and more alien/outlandish/fantastically bs... But...I just never got into it (Billy Piper didn't help )

iMo david tennant is FAR better than christopher eccleston

Posted by Hlcn Twst
@maggflodd: Actually, Billie Piper was one of the reasons I started watching

Too bad she and Eccleston are both gone from the show

@Dicky Snapples: I disagree, but to each their own. I thought Eccleston brought a welcome refresh of the Doctor's character, particularly his dark side. I liked Tennant also, but I agree more with Eccleston's portrayal. Not to mention, on this side of the pond, Eccleston is much easier to understand when he speaks

Posted by leeboy13
grand designs starts back up again tonight... .and too add more jazz to this my bosses house will be one there on the 30th yay!

Posted by methylated_spirit
Bland designs isn't bad, but I prefer Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares for a good old Barney with an incompetent chef from Clitheroe.

The spin off to this series is currently being filmed. Its called Ashes to Ashes. Everyone is in it except for John Simm. And this time its set in the 80's.

Oh and I'm looking forward to the new Messiah on next week. I loved the 1st one, the other 3 were good. Lets see what the 5th one is like. Not sure about it having a whole new cast though.
