My mates got one it's 2003 reg Corsa elegance with Air conditioning,
I don't think the SXi model has that or does it
JoJo hmm
Posted by Sammy_boy
I have a Corsa too... but it's the 5-door old shape W reg version with no wheel trims and a dicky electric window!
First car was a purplish blue (that was the official description!) F reg Nissan Micra 1.2GSX. never let me down!
Posted by Vein
I currently own and (as soon as I pass my test) drive this little 1.2 beast
Posted by Miss UK
Sammy i think the newer corsa's are a whole lot better looking,
infact you should save and get one since the 2007 corsa's here you might bag a bargain on 1 £3,000 or less
Vein, my next door neighbour has one of them he's a old guy and he doesn't take care of it cos the sun has bleached all the bonnet!
Wish i could drive,
I do like the old ford focuses
even tho there too big for a first car

My first car was a 1982 Series 3 Mini City E 1000cc in Nautilus Blue. Paid £75 for it. Learned to drive and also passed my test in it. Loved the car. Had it for two years before it got written off in an accident.
I now own a 2002 SEAT Leon 1.4 16v S with a few modifications. Owned it for just over a year now. Paid £5000 for it.

SXi doesnt come with air conditioning as standard but mine has it. It also has the lowered and stiffened suspension from the SRi that the 1.2 version doesnt have.
Posted by Miss UK
Yep I was in a hurry to find a pic of the Focus that one caught my eye
well in theory the car is the same as we have here in the uk
btw I do think there nice cars still there newer version looks too big I am not too keen on it one bit.
I think it would take me a longtime before I can get a focus I have to learn how to drive then build up my stats....
so will have to start of with something like a 1.0 or 1.2
the SXi Corsa lags the air-conditioning unless specified what were vauxhall thinking off at the time? all cars need that standard now
btw my mates car is pretty nice it has electric windows, CD Player and is pretty nippy
looks like that above but it's the dark silver and it hasn't got allows but proper Vauxhall Wheel trims.
anyone got the 3 door Astra new one?

The spec of my Corsa is quite good:
CD player, Driver and passenger airbag, Electric windows, electric heated wing mirrors, air con, sports seats, lowered suspension, remote central locking etc.
I have driven the new 3 door astras (sports hatch) and thought it was really nice to drive and they look great.
Posted by Miss UK
Sounds alot like my mates car, forgot it had Air cond/heated mirrors only difference is yours is quicker
lol I actually went with him to buy the thing .. what a pulava..
the sales guy reminded me of boyci off only fools
Seen the new corsa..
I prefer the Astra tho it just looks hot!

missUK, how old are you out of interest? im 21 and just getting to the end of my lessons/test. i can get insured on anything and including a 2.0 focus zetec, for a little more then £1200. which isnt bad for a first car really. goes down a hell of alot just because im 21
i found this car the other day, i really wanted to buy it, but my rents talked me into not buying something untill i pass my test
yes that is totally standered, someone got the optional 17" alloys

Danny.
How come your having one from Spain is it cheaper

LostPro.
Im going on 29 ..
insurance at my end costs alot something to do with my crappy area,
I need to find a fulltime proper job and save up for a house then get driving lesson sorted hopefully pass if im lucky but could take ages

My fist car was a 1968 Hillman Imp Californian, in light blue.
A real racey number in those days, and could reach 70mph in a week and a half. I had Cosmic alloy wheels, and a 8ft whip aerial, Cibie Spot lights with spray on tinted windows, not to mention the 8 track stereo!!
I drive now a Cougar, RS 2000, 2 x TR6's and an XR4i.
The XR4i image is in the Ford Retro thread, but this is the RS2000
Oh! and insurance on the RS is £197 fully comp!!!

I'll be able to drive when I turn 16, but I think my mom's Chevrolet Optra 1.8 and my bro's Twingo (my dad surely won't let me around his Kia Sedona!)will have to do for at least until I turn 18 and go to uni. Then I'll (my mom) probably get my own car, hopefully a Clio.

my first car, in 1979, was a Saab 96 with V4 engine and column gear change, just like this. passed my driving test in it too!
Having had a Datsun 240Z, an original MR2, countless hire cars mostly 80's 320 and 323 BMW's and then several Saab 9000 including an Erik Carlsson special limited edition 9000 (a version of the Taladega), I am now driving a Saab convertible
it seems I have an affinity for all things Swedish!

My family then gave me a Jaguar X-Type.
When I went to university I bought my first car.
A Toyota MR2 T-Bar G Limited Edition.
