Hi all not got the bottle to do it myself also the Nokia Updater wont run on my comp anyway. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to flash my N73 to a ME Edition? Also reset the lock code if poss. If anyone would kindly do this for me then let me know.

Reason i need it updated... Its VERY slow. It takes 1minute to send a txt! Also id like album art and stuff

you can get the unlock code from your operator if you're prepared to pay
btw, would a nokia service centre change a standard N83 to a music one? I would doubt htat very much as I couldn't see them changing the product code for a start, and it changes the nature of the phone that was purchased. I know that no SE service centre would do such a thing (e..g changing a K750 into a W800)

as mentioned before, its not possible to "read out" the code from a symbian fone, as its possible in average at many fones. nokia can do it for u, they got the right tools for such actions.

NSU won't run on Vista, I've tried in standard mode and various compatibility modes.
actually it will run but it won't detect that the phone is connected, even though the system tray message appears saying the phone is connected and I can use the pc suite
I've googled this and find no work around so we're waiting for a vista version of NSU

but its really simple, even i managed it. u just have to download the online flash app, then plug a charger and data cable and thats it.

I've got the latest NSU on Vista and it detects my E61 fine and tells me theres no updates which their arent... U need to make sure PC Suite is shut down as it inteferes with the NSU prog...

i have the same software but i have (58.01) in brackets instead. Mines on O2, when i tried updating it on the nokia website, it said i already had the latest software, then i went into the nokia service centre, they said they updated it, but its only updated with the current version of software it was already on in the 1st place, they said to me the software is network dependant, maybe thats why the software number had not changed. Iv just kept up with it though, some occasions it can be slow opening texts, btu sometimes its ok. it depends on the ammount of texts you have got in your inbox too. But apart from that everything seems to be working ok on the phone. However I have noticed that if u try and take a photo and chose the option for it not to flash it always ends up flashing the camera. I have never found a way round this.

Had my N73 updated yesterday at the main Nokia repair centre in Oxford Street, central London.
Was originally an O2 contract phone.
This is what's on there as of yesterday:

You said it was originally on o2 contract. Was it an online contract or through a retail store? How many times have you had the software flashed on that? Its really strange that they flashed the same software back on mines. Mines was done not through Nokia directly, but through a nokia authorised company who put the software on my phone. I might try carphonewarehouse since we have no Nokia service centre here apart from the indirect place i took it to, who are authorised by nokia.
