Just ordered a set of these, seem like a nice good value solution,

only one question remains, will they work with k800i? does it support AD2P/A2DP or whatever?

yes, k800 supports a2dp

They are cheap and very similar in design to the hbh-ds970 (the ear phone and wire bit!)

Might invest in a spare pair!!

As I wrote in a another thread so do I really like my hbh-ds970 . Thinkin' they're the best out there yet.

@Gregface

They certainly are cheap but i wonder why for such a new product it does seem strange. I don't won't to alarm you but in this months Stuff magazine they did a review of the DR-BT30Q (Cyberman style) and said

"We all know that Music playback over Bluetooth isn't yet perfect, but these disappointing Sony's are an especially poor example"

Whilst in review and test of bluetooth headsets the HBH-DS970's came out top.
Not my words but when I was looking at all of these Bluetooth headsets in the Sony Store I wasn't very impressed. The one thing i have noticed about Sony's is that they all seem to have really thin wires connecting the ear pieces. I have just taken delivery of a pair of Shure's and the build and materials is just a different class IMO. I have already used them with my bluetooth headset that has a 3.5mm jack and the sound is so much better than with the Sony EX71's.
