no. its not the contact of phonebook. its in Rediffbol(an IM having both version pc and mobile.) thats why i put it in regional forum.

thanx for quick reply (you are so quick), but even though i follow these instructions, i manage to delete the contact, but when again i login, i can see that contact still present.

Try deleting it by logging from the pc. Just select the contact. Press delete key
