right.

random question this.

but i heard on the radio the other day a bnk doing some kind of scheme when..

if i spend £34.25 in waitrose they (the bank) will round it up to £35 and put 75p in a savings account..

one problem.

i cant remember the bank. ive checked all the big names and its not there?

any ideas?

EDIT: Lloyds TSB..

I joined this when it come out, and it is true. They post the loose change into your savings account.
Bargain if you ask me. Not sure how long this runs for either.

how do i get a debit card? i just have a normal bank card where you get money from an atm.

do you visit your local branch to apply or can it be done over the phone or internet?

prolly best off going to the bank...

might be able to do it over the telephone.

in my experience LLoyds need a signature for anything like this so over the phone the best you can expect is to request the form. you still have to post it or go into a branch

Applyed online with Natwest for mine, they sent forms in the post, i sent off some ID and signed some other form, they returned the ID and sent me my Debit Card, Cheque Book and PIN

there is nowhere to apply online for llyods tsb it seems so will go in and ask them about it.
