Free Internet Access can be had by anyone with the right tools:
You need:
A Mobile phone (unlocked)
An O2 sim card
Proxifier (software)
The Settings
Firstly make a connection to your pc/lappy with your Mobile
(bluetooth, IR or Cable)
Go to Internet settings on mctelephone
Use these settings:
Access Point- payandgo.o2.co.uk
Username- payandgo
Password- password
Open Proxifier Software
Go to Options/Proxy Settings/Add
Server Address 193.113.200.195 Port 8080
Protocol HTPPS
No other settings required, click OK
You should now be able to surf the Net for free via GPRS
Be Aware that if you have Credit in your sim it will go down.
so use one with no Credit and you will not be charged!
Info :
Proxifier is a program that allows network applications that do not support working through proxy servers to operate through an HTTPS or SOCKS proxy or a chain of proxy servers.
There are many network applications that do not support working through proxy servers and thus cannot be used behind a LAN or firewall(s). These can compromise corporate privacy and lead you to many other restrictions. Proxifier solves all of these problems and gives you the opportunity to work with your favorite software without any restrictions. Additionally, it lets you gain extra control over network security, create a proxy tunnel and add more power to network functionality.
and don't say i don't love you all..

Um....surely this shouldn't work? Your creating a tunnel via HTTPS to the O2 gateway IP address (193.113.200.195), this means that all data is securely transmitted through the secure HTTPS protocol and thus shouldn't make a difference to whether you get charged or not?
When you connect to O2, they monitor you number to see how much MB or how long you have been on the internet so whether it is secure or not shouldn't make a difference.
I can't seem to understand how this method is mean't to work...
...please explain.
EDIT: This is a non-working method, it used to work but O2 resolved the compromise in the system in August 2005.

so does this not work then?

The following link (the 3G forum) states that this method stopped working in late 2005, a long time ago!

...so, this whole topic is irrelevant.
