Here's another pic of my W610:

All thes pics are stupid. They are not original size. They are ALL scaled down so you can't see how good or bad they really are. Why do esato scale them down??? Is esato=yahoo?

It's better to place pics somewhere in their real size and use URL's to them. that way we can see true quality.

E.g.

http://www.starlightcorp.net/PUB/FILES/OLD-K550.JPG

and

http://www.starlightcorp.net/PUB/FILES/NEW-K550.JPG

OLD-K550 was from a phone I bought monday March 10 which I returned March 13 as DOA. The other picture is from the replaced K550.

Shots indoor around noon. The daylight is at my back (as described in the manual). Using full automatic settings (open cover and shoot). No image processing or other retouching.

Cheers,

You should try a camera driver, but don't expect miracle, it's only a mobilephone...

why my k550i picture quality is this?

[ This Message was edited by: markphil on 2008-09-21 04:06 ]

I read this review and I'm considering buying this phone:
http://news.softpedia.com/new[....]csson-K550i-Review-65818.shtml

...but the photo quality seems to be quite poor there. Does the K550i really have photo quality like seen in that review? Most people in this thread seem to get a better quality.

Or do you need some tweaked camera drivers to get such quality?

Markphil, your photos are awful, your focus is way off.

Posted by Alex_230
markphil your phone's camera is stuck on macro ,the lens looks stuck ,does it focus anymore? the macro shot of the hard-drive looks ok ,the rest of them are way out of focus.
