Although some bad news..... i pissing broke down this morning on the way to work.... overheated as some moron at the garage didnt put my rocket cover screw lid on - doh!!!!!!!
luckilt the RAC came to the rescue and saved my bacon as i was ment to be onsite at 9:00am and got there at 10:30 - whoopsy!

luckily mines only broken down once(the day i bought it!) ever since then its started first time,everytime. i even left it stood on the drive for 6 weeks and it still started no worries.

im after some too actually,and was thinking the same thing!
i asked at my local mini club,but the only ones anyone had were rusty.
but apparently you dont have to get mini specific ones,as most spots fit any car,and they can be bought from most garages, car accessory shops etc.

lol, well that certainly aint a bad thng... we can both have a look and post our findings here if you want... found a set of four on ebay and its £41 and £8 p&P..... seeems pretty well priced - these include the brackets too

got my spots on mine now - looking soo much better already - next is the wider wheel arches (cant decide if i should go for crome or red - eeeek! )

um I think you have to low a fuse on the spots, they should not blow if you flash em, either that or its the wrong kinda spots

got standard wheels on at the moment,which look a bit odd with the wide arches. the wide wheels were messing up my bearings so they had to come off.
gonna buy some standard arches soon (and spots!)

@Dicky, its looking good dude! you are right about the arches tho - and im glad you showed that coz i was gonna get the wider arches and wack them on (before getting the wheels) will wait now....
this week/weekend im planing on a lot of spraying (from the arches to body work).... so hopefully next week i'll have it looking almost properly finished on the outside

hwos your mini running now bud? just had mine fixed as it wasnt running good atall... needed a new exhust manifold and gasket.... along with bushes - never ending is it - but i still love it!!!!!

and the old leatehr mini cooper seats - what id give to have them...... theyre about £400 from what ive seen tho (for a good set anyway)
and i want bigger wheels (13inchs) with the wider archers, but thats gonna eb atleast 300-400pounds all in id guess...... so will make do with my 12inches for now and get those chrome arches i think......
i want in the ned to have one of those massive sun roofs.... ive heard the kit costs about £200 and then you need to pay someone to install it (cut it out etc)...... hmmmmmm..... im doign the lottery this weekend
