GPRS strangeness - Esato archive

Hello all,
I'm trying to use my T68i as an infrared modem.
Infrared detection works fine. My problem is accessing web pages.
I am assigned an IP address via GPRS but i cannot load any pages.
However when surfing on the phone itself I can access pages no
problem. The only machines I can ping are the phone itself and the
server that assigns my IP address.
Any ideas?

check with your operator. they may be using a different APN for WAP and PC-internet browsing.
