Snap On Speakers MPS-75
The music on your phone is bursting to get out. Snap on the MPS-75 and share all your tunes - it looks great and it sounds great.
It's always party time
Compact and tough enough to carry around without a cover, the MPS-70 suits the beach, balcony or back garden. Wherever you are, it goes too.
Snap-on, tune in
A snap-on design that’s different from a lot of speakers gives great sound quality. Tuned to suit your phone, it’s ideal for saved music or FM radio.

Black and orange

Looks really good. Clever design.
Pity it doesn't also act as a radio antenna - or does it?
Posted by tranced
it makes the phone look like a big headed razor machine

Imagine that in your pocket
Posted by jcwhite_uk
It does act as a radio aerial too

What this needs now is a mini remote-control for flicking tracks/channels.
Posted by masseur
just use a phone that is compatible with the MBW-100 or equivalent alternate manufacturer version

Looks awesome! Gold might be a bit chavvy though!

Gold and black i think go well together.

And only because its

Anyone else think it looks like a shoe?

a shoe ??????
anyway, i hope it comes in other colours such as black and silver, that would go well with many phones inc my Z550i.

saw and heard these today. hard to judge quality with all the noise around but I'd say probably as good as the mps-70 which I have and which are fairly awesome for the size
Posted by Horonaim
Will this be compatible with all
phones?
Posted by masseur
I see no reason why it wouldn't be compatible with all fastport phones
Posted by Horonaim
oh. yeah you're right.

still awaiting full spec for these..........
Posted by masseur
I picked up the full SE catalogue today which has even the tripod in it but no mention of this and I didn't see any specs listed where it was displayed.
I have little doubt that they are very similar though to the MPS-70 already mentioned and I must say that the wires on my MPS-70 are always getting tangled up so this new one would be my preference for that reason
Posted by tranced
the mps75 was released after the catalogue was done. hope we wont have to wait cebit08 to see the specs

I guess so.
I'm actually dissapointed that I'll just miss Aussie cebit which starts on 1 may which is 2 days after I leave Sydney on my next trip home.
either which way, I'm sure these speakers will be a hit from what I saw today, though there was probably more attention on the mds-60 from what I saw, but perhaps thats because it more resembles the ipod style of external speakers

here's a pic from my collection of today

I talked to a
press representative yesterday, and he told me not to take photos of the device he had in his
suitcase. It was the only thing I not could photograph. The reason might be that the speaker spec not are final and that the final design ca change. Agree with masseur. Difficult to judge the sound quality on such small speakers in a noisy environment like the
stand is.

the one thing I was not allowed to phot was the Samsung ultra music edition that you did get photos of. The woman who told me to stop taking photo's seemed very annoyed but I saw no signs even after she told me!

@masseur
where can i get a copy of SE full catalog, virtually perhaps ???
Posted by >500
@se4nick
try their website : www.sonyericsson.com.au
go to press releases as thats where they show all their new products and then view their products...

@masseur
Samsung did not allow the general public to capture photos of many of their phone. Only the press could do that
