IT Certifications - Esato archive

Hi, I am about to start studying for several IT certifications. Wanted to start with A+, then Network+, and then I was planning to take MCSA and CCNA.

I would like to hear from people who are already certified and what is the best ways to get certified? I don't want to spend the giant amounts of money to take classes but am willing to either self-study from books or spending some money on CD-ROM tutorials as those found at www.careeracademy.com

Any advice?
