Meron na bang T300 sa GH. Tagal ko nang hinihintay to.

Posted by ferrarista44
do you guys really take priority of "cheap" over "warranty"?
la lang...
naloko na kasi ako sa gh dati... (nun nokia user pa ko)...

Posted by keichi
Nbuela - naka indicate nga yun sa likod. And if d keypads have chinese characters.

Posted by keichi
What i know is sa hongkong hk$1k=P6k+ lang t300. D2 baka 17k included mca25 sa package. Nbasa ko lang din 2 sa oder forum

Posted by keichi
Ferarista44 - kaw kse may pambili ng 'waranty' yun iba wala.

Posted by superunknown
Whats the features of t300? Kindly post it here;-)thanks

Posted by NokiaKilla
Balak ko dating bumili ng T68kaya kang may R520M ako which have everything in T68 except the color screen and MMS. T300 walang bluetooth at sync at mukha raw soap box pero merong mophun at polytunes

Posted by vwbeetle
one year na yung t68m ko next week, bought from globe...in hind sight nothing really went wrong with it, all i ever needed the "warranty" for was the upgrade in fw and i only did it twice-- the MMS upgrade and the upgrade to R5a. i can say that the t68 is a very good phone-- never pa ako tumagal ng one year na hindi nagpapalit ng phone. hindi pa ako nagpapalit kasi wala pa akong makitang hindi kayang tapatan ng t68 ko in terms of functions at hitsura.

so using my experience as a guage, if i were to choose between buying a t68mc upgraded to i at P9,500 in gh and a "legal" t68i at P18,000 i will not even think twice-- i will buy the t68mc and save the P8,500 for exigencies. from all indications, wala naman nag-rereport ng mga defective na t68mc converted to i. if ever masira, eh di ipagawa--kahit board pa masira dun hindi naman siguro lalagpas ng P8,500, o kung lagpas man eh di dagdag lang ng P1,000 bili ulit ng isa pa. eh kung hindi masira, di may P8,500 ka na pwedeng ibili ng pagkain. yung warranty makakain ba yun?

kanya kanyang paniwala yan eh..lets respect each other's decision

@*
so guys, any reputable shops in gh to buy a t68i?

Posted by nookiehunter
@jowi
"reputable" and "greenhills" dont mix...

Posted by Jowi
@nookie

i mean kahit isa or dalawang store lang...meron dun..
ok ba Vantage Telco?how about ABC?

Posted by nookiehunter
@jowi
i guess any store there that will provide warranty and trouble-free after sales service can be considered reputable

Posted by clark27
hahahahaha they are cheap after 3 months sakit sa ulo ung mga unit nla

Posted by ferrarista44
@vwbeetle
in my case, i had my phone replaced 4 times.
dami kasi ako reklamo eh... syempre nga naman, i bought a high-end phone. so pag may sira... warranty na bahala.

but u always have the choice of buying sa gh. la nga lang support from SonyEricsson itself.

Posted by Calvin c",)
I agree that you can't use the word "reputable" and "greenhills" in the same sentence but I bought my unit there and don't have any complaints so far except that Im stuck with R2E006. Guess Im just lucky!

Posted by superunknown
@joms. You re phone will be different when you upgrade. But its your decision.;-)

Posted by Joms
@superunknown d question is my friend, would it b beneficial? A thousand bucks is nothing just as long it would do me good. Basta sulit d b?

Posted by Joms

joms
try mo sa Greenbelt telco lane STALL #15( I don't know the name of the store) look for Chabelita or Double B...name drop BNC or Buyncell.

they upgrade/unlock t68 & all kind of SE/Ericsson phones

Posted by nookiehunter
@jowi
dude, how much do they usually charge? baka naman murder na ang price.

Posted by vwbeetle

Posted by Joms
@vwbeetle, dude i think there's no diff except that mc units r not supported here. Dont know if thats d case 4 m units in other countries. Anyway, ABC store @ GH gives a1yr warranty 4 their fones. @jowi, subukan ko pre. Tnx 4 d info!

Posted by ferrarista44
@vwbeetle
simple lang ang pinagka-iba.
yun sa authorized distributors may support from SE if in case anything goes wrong.
yun sa gray market wala.

that explains why t68mc is hardly upgradeable here. kasi SE never authorized its distribution locally in the first place.

Posted by scud

Posted by ferrarista44
@scud

Posted by scud
kc i have 5 frend 4 of us including myself bought from the same supplier in gh nothing happens pa naman up to this moment thank God but 1 of my buddies gut unlucky when he buy his t68i in one of authorized dstrbutor keeps on hanging then auto off it was been 3 times na in upgrde wala pa rin positive nangyari then they will replace it daw pero mga 2 weeks pa e papunta na cys canada this december its so ironic but i dont say gh is cool just for us swerte lang kami noon!!!

Posted by superunknown
You re lucky:-D

Posted by vwbeetle

Posted by vwbeetle
P19,500 pala daw ang t68 sa semicon...eh di P10,000 pa pala ang difference in price

Posted by legallypogi
@vwbettle- yah much cheaper nga pero la naman guarantee!

Posted by vwbeetle

Posted by dragon7
Rite on beatle!! 6 mnths na sa kin to still ok, battered na all arnd frm abt 10 drops still working, build quality all da same be it frm grey, or legit. Waiting 4 da p800 to hit gh! 1 more thng, all legit importers r smugglers 1 way or da other, be it technical or thru inter island magic. Smile! :-D ur on candid camera!

I bought my T68i in virra mall greenhills last June 14 for 18,100 pesos and so far I have no problems. I bought it from a stall owned by a Mrs. Yabut and all she sells are cellphones. She does not sell cellphone acessories. But the last time I was there (Sept.), she was selling the communicam and HBH-30.The other stalls get their phones from her.

Posted by jcpsad
I don't see any problems kung sa greenhills mo lang binili phone mo... la naman problem eh... I bought my T68i from GH... then pinaupgrade ko sa SESS (sorry liezel) dun na nagloko! sana hindi na lang pala... Sabi it was meant to fixed bugs but not to add and multiply... i got tired of bringing it back to the service center... nakakapagod din kasi... pero ganun pa din nagyari.. reboot and hang! kaya dispose ko na sha.

bottomline walang problema kung san mo binili phone mo... depende yan sa pagaalaga mo...

Posted by latergarfield
Where exactly in Greenhills store or stall can i get the T68i with communicam for about only P 14,000 ++??? I just asked around and the t68i is selling for P14500 without the communicam, anybody who knows where it is being offered wid communicam for basically the same price of abt P14T, pls let me know.

Posted by HIgher_168
Ung 14k na t68 wid cam upgraded t68mc lang, and the cam that cums wid it mca10 lang. Kya mura.

Posted by latergarfield
what store in Greeenhills is it recommended to get the T68i wid communicam? How much?

Posted by latergarfield
ok, ic well anyway, thanks for the fast reply... really appreciate it...
maybe ill get the t68i without the cam muna... the cam alone costs around P7000.

Posted by latergarfield
What is the difference between t68mc and t68i?

Posted by kapitan jackal
@garfield -if u search enough u will see 99% of t68mc users nagccse bat sa gh sila bumili, i highly advisr u to buy se units from authorized dealers. kung namamahalan ka well, i think someone is selling a t68i from semicon çb warranty at phone for sale thread. pls. check it out. t68i + mca -20 digicam 18k. t68mc´s are asian versions, not supported by se phils. kung bokia units gusto mo , ok lang sa gh kse khit sang kanto may gumagawa ng bokia, pero se? either sa smartnet or semicon lang.

you have several options, which all depend on how much you are willing to spend and what your priorities are. to sum up the discussion on this thread:

1) you can buy a brand new t68i with warranty at "authorized dealers" for P19.5K (advantage - if your phone is defective it will be repaired free, and you get free upgrades of the fw)
2) you can buy a second hand t68i with warranty (advantage same as above plus lower price, disadvantage- it's second hand)
3) you can buy a brand new t68i at the "gray market" for around P13K (advantage - lower price, disadvantage - if your phone is defective you have to pay for repairs, and you have to pay for upgrades of the fw)
4) you can buy a second hand t68m upgraded to i with warranty (advantage- same as number 2 plus even lower price, disadvantage- its second hand)
5) you can buy a brand new t68mc upgraded to i in the grey market for around P9.5k (advantage - very low price for a good brand new phone, disadvantage - same as 3 AND you cannot hope to upgrade the fw unless you go to greenbelt stall 15 and ask for chabelita)

(note: the t68m and t68mc are essentially the same phones but the t68mc was specifically meant for the chinese market. so what? the t68mc is discriminated against here, you cannot get any fw upgrades from authorized dealers, but for hardware problems you can have them repaired)

confused? you shouldnt be. do you really care what fw is in your phone? if so the t68mc converted to i is a real bargain at P9.5K. ive got both a t68m and a t68mc converted to "i" and im very satisfied with them. the t68m has turned one year old with zero defects. the t68mc is 4 months old also with zero defects. the owners of t68mc who complain, as far as i know, complain that they cannot have their fw upgraded to the newest fw. not about build quality.

youve got P19.5K burning a hole in your pocket? maybe you better just hang on to that phone youre using now and wait for the P800. or you can just buy a N7650 (hehehe im going to get flamed) but IMHO P19.5 K is too much for a t68i even if its "warrantied". its basically an old phone, a good one but still old. for the expense to be worth it, youre going to have to wish that your phone is defective and needs to be repaired all the time for free. im sure you wouldnt want that.

Posted by legallypogi
Nokiakilla@ tol mabinta daw t68 ngayn magmula ng ipalabas 007, mi stall kac don pinsan ko eh!

Posted by NokiaKilla
@legallypogi

Posted by latergarfield
Hi, great thanks for ol ur advises, i think ill wait for the P800 and just hold on to my Nokia 5210, I may want to get a 7650 if i cant really wait that long. but i do want the P800.
Anyway, tnx agen for ur responses.
