Does any0ne kn0w where 2 buy a cheap data cable 4 t68i? S beter 2 use a bluetooth adaptor 4 pc than datacable? I h0pe u guys cn help me. TIA!

Posted by randyrivera
cable is a lot faster than bluetooth, but imagine the wonders of wireless connectivity thru bluetooth. if you use it with a t68i/r520/t39 pwede mo pang gamiting remote control ng pc mo to control winamp, media player, or even as a wireless mouse

just thought you'd like to know, The t610 is already available at greenhills for 26,000 php. You have to order it though as they don't stock it. You can get the phone in three days. I'm not brave enough to part with that kind of money with no warranty.

Posted by binoblaine05
magkano na ngayon t68i sa greenhills? tnx

Posted by jplacson
@doctabako, I agree... GH is the worst place to get SE stuff.... no warranty, gray market units, and usually un-supported units since these are Chinese market only units...PLUS, GH doesn't sell SE products cheap! In fact, most of their stuff is more expensive that Semicon (CDT-10 Desktop charger for T39 was selling for P3,000...Semicon sells it for P1,200 I think)

Posted by stlblues
doctabako, which stall in GH was willing to sell the T610?

Posted by doctabako
@jplacson I hear you. In fact I was duped into buying an MCA-25 for 7,000 php december last year, its working fine though so I have no regrets. Since Semicon is taking its sweet time in releasing the t610, I guess a lot of our more adventurous colleagues here may still be willing to shell out the dough unmindful of the risk, just to be first

@stlblues its at the ground floor of Virra Mall, where the cellphone stalls are. Not the one by the escalators, you have to go deeper inside. If you're familiar with GH, you'll know why I'm having a problem pointing you to the exact place, since they all look the same.

the t610 in greenhills is now at 22,500 php at virra mall. Only aluminum haze is available.

Aside from having warranty-expired units unlocked, I'd rather eat deep-fried siomai in greenhills than getting a brand new, unwarrantied, very expensive gadget that might just be a lemon.

Posted by kapitan jackal
@* ako yung diced hopia @ex- sa authorized dealer ka na lang bumili. mututo ka na sana

Posted by CyberRay
NEVER buy mobile phones from unauthorized dealers specially in greenhills! Remember! *Nasa huli ang pagsisisi.* =)

Posted by sad1k981
may t610 ba sa gh??

magkano ?

tahbks......

Posted by Hzana
@CyberRay, bat naman? I dont think they are fake. Even if you get a unit that is sub-standard (T610 w/ hissing), SE will still fix it (with cost of labor of course). The only thing you pay for with Semicon and similar resellers is the 1 year warranty. For people like myself, spending several thousand pesos for warranty is a lot.

A word of caution of course is check the unit thouroughly. Although if I did get my phone from authorized dealers I'd do the same since it costs so damn much. Here is an example, GH P800 = P32K, Semicon P800 = 39.5K.

Posted by CyberRay
@Hzana: Yeah I've noticed the price difference too buddy. but i just wanna be sure, i only purchase my mobile phones from Nokia 3650 to 9210i from Sony Ericsson T68i to my P800 only at authorized and trusted distributors like semicon. tho the price is sumwhat a 'big' difference from those @ GH. But i am much more confident and has a feeling of being secured that my phone and all of its accesorries are all original! and of course the warranty too! So...No matter what happens, I'll never ever buy phones at greenhills! I've learned my lesson already... =)

Posted by azhul-e2
tama kayo joey...so if u wanna buy a semicon distributed acc. n' cell-p.
always tsek my tread slightly cheap but same warranty and all...tnx

sing bango...munit di sing mahal....

Posted by ex_crusader
ay oo kapitan... past experiences taught me so much. tsaka second hand buying is never advisable. i did buy (second hand) once, it was Ericsson T28 way back then, and it was a total piece of crap. i brought it to semicon para ipagawa, i spent more than 5t for the repair.

tsaka yung friend ng classmate ko nabugbog sa GH dahil nag complain yung buyer about sa nabili, eh kuyog pala tong mga GH vendors. so be very careful...

I seldomly use it...

For those people who keep insisting that GH is an ok place to buy SE phones and accessories... by all means.. go ahead and buy from there. It's a free country... just don't say we didn't warn you guys.

Yes, the T610 is cheaper in GH... but if your unit dies 3 days from when you bought it... and the store you bought it from can only replacee it "when their new stocks arrive" (since they're not an authorized dealer, it could be months from when you bought it) ... then go ahead.

If you discover that your unit is from HK and a Chinese version which has no SW support here... don't complain that "Semicon won't upgrade my phone!"

If you find out that Semicon is actually cheaper than the phone you bought in GH... well... tough luck.

You've all been warned... and since you're buying a new SE model in GH, I'm assuming you have the cash to burn and have a spare phone should your GH phone turn out to be a dud.

Yes, Semicon service for phones is slow as well.... BUT the 1st 7 days is instant replacement... and they usually have a regular flow on the new units, so the most you'll have to wait is a week for a replacement. Spare parts is another story...so don't smash your phone if it's a relatively new model... you'll wait ages for the part to be ordered. Replacement units arrive faster than spare parts. And Semicon doesn't 'vanish' into thin air like a lot of GH stores... notice their receipts sometimes don't even have their name... it's usually just a "_________ Merchandising" or even just a non-official receipt.

If you still wanna buy from Greenhills... go ahead... don't try to convince the rest of us that it's safe there... and we won't try to convince you that it's not safe. All experiences have been listed in this thread... I think we're all smart enough to make our own decisions.

Good Luck to you all you shoppers.

pips, kung sa greenhills din lang, sa ayala na lang kayo bumili... t610 is around 17K lang and up... with one year SERVICE warranty.... opinion ko lang po... hindi po ako nag-aadvertize i don't know yung prices ng mga nokias dun, di me nagtanong e, ingat lang at yng ibang SE fones e vodafone!

i bought my p800 at a GH stall 3 months ago despite hearing warnings from my friends that it isnt wise to do so. after i got home, i immediately opened the box and checked out the phone. after a few minutes of tinkering, blood drained down from my head to my feet: the freaking thing could only recognize chinese characters as its handwriting recognition feature! piaosi! (the only word/phrase i know in chinese. never knew how ironic i would need it). i wanted to get my hands on that plick, excuse me, prick that sold me the phone. i then frantically picked up the phone and called the store to complain. Luckily, they gave me a full refund on that same day (but mind you, it ddnt come without so much of a hassle and a lot of clout).

IVE LEARNED MY LESSON WELL ... i would never buy anything from that store again.

P.S. after the refund, i bought a new one from a stall just a few meters away from the first one. worked perfectly fine.
