LG Shine and TomTom 910

Has anyone with this phone/gps combination know whether bluetooth handsfree works? It pairs etc and connects but when dialling from the 910, it says no dial tone. Strange because if you ring the phone, the 910 will pick up the call.
Anyone any ideas?
