T39m and BT-3030 - Esato archive

Cannot make my T39m work at all with my Tecom BT-3030 USB Bluetooth adapter. I've tried all sorts of configurations on my PC but both the phone and the PC seem unable to see or find each other. I have the latest T39m XTND software and tecom drivers. Also have an IR link which works flawlessly, compared to the BT which so far was only frustration. Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated.
